Antetokounmpo should be more aggressive tonight after taking just 11 shots on Wednesday.

The drama between Antetokounmpo and the Bucks continues, as teams reportedly expect the two-time NBA MVP to be out of Milwaukee by next season, and his teammates hogging the ball is only worsening the situation. However, I don't expect Antetokounmpo to stay passive. The last time he attempted 11 or fewer shots in a game (Jan. 9), he bounced back with 31 points against the Nuggets two days later.

Meanwhile, Shane Thurston backs a Bucks player to score 10-plus points with his NBA player props tonight.

Aaron Gordon steps up with 19+ points (-102) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Denver's injury report for tonight is hefty, and Gordon could potentially be the No. 1 option on offense, with seven Nuggets either questionable or out.

Gordon scored 23 points against the Bucks in their first head-to-head meeting earlier this season on Nov. 11, and tonight should be more of the same. Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, and Cam Johnson all sat out that game, and there's a solid chance all three will be out again tonight. Jokic and Johnson are both out with knee injuries, while Murray (hamstring) is questionable - that's why I'm backing Gordon to score 19-plus.

Ryan Rollins held to under 16 points while Giannis shines (-119) ⭐⭐⭐

Not only has Rollins scored 15 or fewer points in six straight games, but he should see even fewer shots tonight with Antetokounmpo frustrated after Wednesday.

When Antetokounmpo bounced back with 31 points against the Nuggets on Nov. 11 - after attempting just 11 shots two nights earlier - Rollins scored a whopping two points in 35 minutes. Not only will a more aggressive Antetokounmpo lead to fewer points for Rollins, but this game has a strong chance of ending in a rout, so Rollins may not even play the fourth quarter if it gets out of hand early.

🧐 How I'm handicapping Nuggets vs. Bucks

The Nuggets' lengthy injury report creates a lot of uncertainty in this game as far as using past meetings to predict player performance tonight. What we do have, though, are two strong storylines entering tonight: Antetokounmpo is frustrated after attempting just 11 shots on Wednesday, and Denver will need someone to step up if Murray doesn't play.

That's why I've bet the plays listed in this article. Recent history has shown us that Antetokounmpo will not stay passive and that Gordon is the next best option to back when the Nuggets' best scorers don't play.
