The Sacramento Kings host the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday, as we offer our best Lakers-Kings NBA player props based on the best NBA odds.

As the NBA Playoffs approach, both the Los Angeles Lakers and Sacramento Kings are trying to play their way off the top of the NBA Play-In Tournament odds. If the playoffs were today, both the Kings and Lakers would have to take the play-in route as the No. 7 and  No. 9 seed, respectively.

That makes every game over the last month of the season that much more important as both teams hope to climb to at least the No. 6 seed and clinch a true playoff spot. This Western Conference showdown could carry a lot of weight, and our best sports betting sites all favor the Lakers in what should be a high-scoring game.

To accompany our NBA player props and best bets for Wednesday, here are our best Lakers vs. Kings NBA player props and NBA picks (odds via our best NBA betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

There has been notable odds movement in the hours leading up to tip-off, as D'Angelo Russell has seen his odds at DraftKings move from +100 to -115. Domantas Sabonis rebounds' total has increased from 13.5 to 14.5 at BetMGM, with odds lengthening from -110 to +105 as a result.

De'Aaron Fox's Over 28.5 points at FanDuel has seen the least movement, lengthening from -104 to -114.

Lakers vs. Kings props

D'Angelo Russell Over 2.5 3-pointers (-115 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

It's quietly been the most efficient season of D'Angelo Russell's career and by far his best since being named an All-Star with the Brooklyn Nets in 2018-19. The former Ohio State Buckeye is averaging just 18 points per game, but he's shooting a career-high 47.1% from the floor and his 3-point range has been the biggest game-changer for L.A.

Russell is shooting 42.4% from three this season, the highest percentage in his career by a wide margin and the 13th-best clip in the league. He's been the Lakers' scariest 3-point threat, leading the team in percentage, attempts (6.7), and makes per game (2.8). The 28-year-old is coming off a 14-game stretch where he's hit at least three 3-pointers 10 times and has averaged 3.7 threes per game on 8.4 attempts (44%).

That hot streak should continue against this Kings defense that's been one of the worst on the perimeter this season. Sacramento is allowing the second-highest three-point percentage in the NBA this season (39.4%) and giving up 13.3 threes per game to opponents. The -115 odds imply a 53.49% probability that Russell will hit the Over, according to our odds calculator.

Domantas Sabonis Over 14.5 rebounds (+105 via BetMGM) ⭐⭐⭐

No player in the NBA has been a more consistent rebounder than Domantas Sabonis this season. The three-time All-Star has followed up winning the total rebounds crown last year by averaging even more per game this season (13.5) and leading the league in the category. The former Gonzaga star is on pace to average at least 12 rebounds per game for the fifth straight season and has shown no signs of slowing down.

Sabonis has been cleaning up the boards at an even higher rate lately with more than 13.5 in 13 of his last 20 games. Over that stretch he's averaging 15.4 rebounds per game and will pose a difficult matchup for this Lakers team. Los Angeles is allowing 15.04 rebounds per game to opposing centers this season and has struggled to pull down boards.

The Lakers are just 22nd in total rebounds per game (42.6) and last in the league in offensive rebounds per game (8.1). Sabonis should make easy work as a defensive rebounder in this game and will be able to find opportunities to bring in a few offensive rebounds, too. The Lakers are allowing opponents to come down with 11 offensive rebounds per game. Of our best sportsbooks, BetMGM is offering noticeably longer odds on Sabonis rebounds.

De'Aaron Fox Over 28.5 points (-114 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐

After being snubbed from the All-Star game, De'Aaron Fox has been on a mission to make the rest of the NBA look silly. The 26-year-old is averaging a career-high 27.1 points per game and has gone for at least 29 points in six of his last 10 games.

Since Feb. 13, he's putting up 30.2 points per game and this Lakers defense will have problems trying to slow him down. Los Angeles is allowing 117.6 points per game this season and is giving up the seventh most points per game in the NBA to point guards (25.46). Fox's ability to shoot from behind the arc (36.6% from three) and work closer to the rim (53.5% from two) should give the Lakers issues.

Darvin Ham's team is allowing the third most 3-pointers per game in the NBA this season (14.2) and the 10th most 2-pointers (30.2). L.A.'s style of play has also lended itself to opponents seeing plenty of opportunities, the Lakers average the most shots against in the NBA (93.6). While Fox's point total is the same across our best sports betting apps, FanDuel has the best price.
