The Giannis Antetokounmpo next team odds initially dropped in the offseason when the Milwaukee Bucks star was rumored to be traded. However, the stove is now extremely hot, with the Greek Freak and his agent reportedly meeting with the team to discuss his future.

Outside of Milwaukee, the New York Knicks (29%) and San Antonio Spurs (14%) own the best chance to land Antetokounmpo, according to prediction trading market Kalshi. But who could present Milwaukee with the best trade package? Let's dive in.

Knicks (29%)

This just seems like a trade destined to happen. The Knicks were looking to make a big splash for the superstar in the summer, floating trade packages that included Karl Anthony-Towns, OG Anunoby, and multiple first-round picks before Giannis recommitted to the only franchise he's ever known and won a championship with. They'll now enter the room once more to get the Knicks over the playoff hump.

The Bucks are now 10-13, frustration is brewing internally, and Antetokounmpo just went down with a non-contact injury. Milwaukee is starved for assets after mortgaging its future to try to keep Antetokounmpo, and then made a desperate decision to pick up Myles Turner and waive Damian Lillard, who they gave up a 2029 first-round pick for.

The Knicks are one of only a handful of teams with a war chest of picks and stars to make this trade possible. New York owns two first-rounders and two second-rounders in 2026, and will likely need to use three of the four, if not every pick, with the addition of a player like KAT to get this deal over the finish line.

Thunder (5%)

Yes, yes, don't mess with a good thing. I get it. The Thunder are 21-1, first in the Western Conference, and are riding a 13-game winning streak. However, if you have the chance to land a generational superstar, I think you get it done, especially with the type of draft capital the Thunder own.

Let's make this clear - the league is in a terrifying spot. Not only is Oklahoma City coming off a championship and is currently the favorite to win another one, but it still owns three first-rounders in 2026 and three first-round picks in 2027. Most of these assets trace back to the Paul George trade, of course. If the Thunder wanted to use them to turn the team into a dynasty - if it's not already there - they could.

Oklahoma City and Sam Presti probably won't make this deal, hence the 5% chance from Kalshi, but they have the ammunition if they come knocking.
