The start of the season has been challenging for the Los Angeles Clippers and the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors, in particular, have faced significant difficulties, dropping eight of their last 10 games and ending up with a concerning 8-10 record for the season ahead of Thursday's matchup.
The Clippers haven't experienced much improvement, securing a slightly better 5-5 record over their last 10 games but still maintaining a lackluster 8-9 overall record, only marginally ahead of the Warriors. Early on, both teams are confronting challenges, dealing with inconsistencies and setbacks that adversely affect their league performance.

Let’s ride the hot hand with Kawhi tonight. He’s scored at least 31 points in back-to-back games heading into Thursday’s tilt with the Warriors, and we’re banking on him posting at least 26.
Over his last two, Leonard has picked up the slack for Paul George, who scored 25 points on just 9-for-31 shooting. Leonard is 24-for-44 in that span, and he can keep it up against a Warriors team that allows the 11th most points on the season and the sixth most across their last three.

Norm Powell, the team’s fourth leading scorer, injured his leg Wednesday, and given that the team plays on back-to-back nights, it’s unlikely he’s available.
