The Golden State Warriors are seeking to bounce back home against the Pacific Division rival Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday night, as we make our Clippers vs. Warriors NBA player props based on the best NBA odds.
The start of the season has been challenging for the Los Angeles Clippers and the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors, in particular, have faced significant difficulties, dropping eight of their last 10 games and ending up with a concerning 8-10 record for the season ahead of Thursday's matchup.
The Clippers haven't experienced much improvement, securing a slightly better 5-5 record over their last 10 games but still maintaining a lackluster 8-9 overall record, only marginally ahead of the Warriors. Early on, both teams are confronting challenges, dealing with inconsistencies and setbacks that adversely affect their league performance.
On Monday, Los Angeles experienced an embarrassing home defeat against a Denver Nuggets team without Nikola Jokic and Aaron Gordon. Despite this setback, the team recovered with a victory over the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday.
In their recent game against Sacramento, the Warriors suffered a loss and also lost Chris Paul. Although Paul will be absent tonight, Steph Curry and the Warriors aim to return to the win column at Chase Center, where the team has surprisingly encountered struggles this season.
To accompany our NBA player props and best bets, here are our best Clippers vs. Warriors NBA player props and NBA picks (odds via our best NBA betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).
Clippers vs. Warriors NBA player props
Kevon Looney Over 11.5 rebounds (+210 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Looney’s rebound prop is 9.5 across our best sports betting apps, but the odds range from -110 to -113. We can do much better than that, especially since Looney is in a phenomenal smash spot tonight.
On the season, Looney has pulled at least 11 rebounds in eight of 18 games, including four games with at least 12. Five of those eight games came at home, and five came against teams ranked in the top 10 most offensive rebounds allowed. The Clippers allow the third-most offensive boards per game, and Looney has been masterful on the offensive glass over the last two seasons. Since the start of the 2022-23 season, he ranks seventh in the Association in offensive rebounds per game at a healthy 3.3.
Looney was solid against the Clippers last season. In his last three games against them, he pulled down 35 total rebounds, including 14 offensive. He averages just 7.7 total rebounds on the road compared to 10.1 at home and his offensive rebound numbers are just 2.1 on the road compared to 4.1 at home. Expect him to take advantage of the Clippers’ deficiencies on the offensive glass and play a few extra minutes with Chris Paul out of action. This is a great opportunity to cash out on some juicy plus-money odds.

Kawhi Leonard Over 25.5 points (-105 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Let’s ride the hot hand with Kawhi tonight. He’s scored at least 31 points in back-to-back games heading into Thursday’s tilt with the Warriors, and we’re banking on him posting at least 26.
Over his last two, Leonard has picked up the slack for Paul George, who scored 25 points on just 9-for-31 shooting. Leonard is 24-for-44 in that span, and he can keep it up against a Warriors team that allows the 11th most points on the season and the sixth most across their last three.
Leonard has been better on the road, averaging 23.3 points compared to 18.9 at home. Four of his six games with at least 26 points this season have come outside crypto.com Arena. Norm Powell, the team’s fourth leading scorer, injured his leg Wednesday, and given that the team plays on back-to-back nights, it’s unlikely he’s available. That should mean even more scoring responsibility for Leonard.

Draymond Green Over 7.5 assists (+100 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐
With Chris Paul sidelined tonight, Green is expected to take on the role of primary facilitator, and we can get the best value on his assist prop by using our bet365 bonus code: SBRBONUS. Green returned from his five-game suspension Tuesday against Sacramento and handed out only three assists compared to Steph Curry’s six, despite CP3 exiting that one early.
We’ll give Green a pass in his first game back and bet on him shaking off the rust on Thursday. Not counting the game in which he was suspended and played only two minutes, he’s recorded at least seven assists in five of nine games and at least eight in three. Curry may be listed as the team’s point guard, but he’s averaging a career-low 4.1 assists due to his hefty scoring responsibility. Don’t expect him to deviate from that tonight. Take Green and the assists.
