My best NBA player prop bets today focus on a pair of exciting young guards in the early slate before closing things out with two more wagers in tonight’s Miami Heat vs. Los Angeles Lakers matchup.

⬆️ VJ Edgecombe Over 9.5 rebounds + assists (+101) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The 76ers' VJ Edgecombe has been sensational to start his rookie campaign, averaging 21.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per game. With Joel Embiid out on Sunday, I want to have action on Edgecombe in a favorable matchup against the Brooklyn Nets.

This rebounds and assists combo prop is the best market to attack, as he’s cleared this line in all five games. The Nets rank 26th in rebounds allowed and 28th in assists allowed per game. I project at least 11 for Edgecombe, which is why I love this +101 price tag at DraftKings. A $10 bet would win a $10.10 profit with an implied probability of 49.75%.

🔥 Keyonte George 8+ assists (-120) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Under the player assists tab on FanDuel for this Utah Jazz vs. Charlotte Hornets game, Keyonte George has a -120 price to record 8+ assists. The Over on 7.5 assists in the primary market is -122.

It’s just two cents, but I’m highlighting the price discrepancy to remind you to always look for the best line. Either way, I like George’s passing with the Jazz this season. He’s averaging 9.2 assists on 14.6 potential dimes per game this year, clearing this mark in four of his five contests.

Only three teams give up more assists per game than the Hornets (29), so I’m interested in the +210 price tag on George recording 10-plus dimes. But I’d rather take the +222 value on his double-double odds at DraftKings for a similar angle, as he’s averaging 21.2 points. 

Back George, who I also love in the NBA Most Improved Player odds race. A $10 bet at FanDuel could net $8.33 in profit with an implied probability of 54.55%.

⬆️ Luka Doncic Over 8.5 rebounds (-126) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Luka Doncic has put up video-game numbers in his three outings this season. He’s averaging 45.3 points, 11.7 rebounds, and 7.7 assists per contest - that’ll play.

I like the idea of targeting his rebounds, as that’s a consistent avenue for production while LeBron James is sidelined. He’s recorded double-digit boards in all three games, which is why FanDuel is charging as much as -152 for the same ticket.

At this -126 value (55.75%) at DraftKings, a $10 bet earns $7.94.

⬇️ Bam Adebayo Under 34.5 points + rebounds + assists (-122) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Bam Adebayo soared past this PRA line in a matchup against Victor Wembanyama, so I might be a fool for taking this Under when he’s facing the Lakers' Deandre Ayton. However, the market seems to agree with me. DraftKings is the only sportsbook still offering this line at 34.5, with all other best sports betting sites dropping to 33.5.

Adebayo has only cleared 34.5 PRA twice this season, and I think the Lakers’ switching defense is built to limit his effectiveness. The Lakers have kept opposing big men in check this season; it’s the perimeter players they can’t defend.
