Sure, the Aces are the hottest team in the league while carrying a 16-game win streak, looking capable of winning their third title in four years. But I’m not convinced Las Vegas should be favored by 6.5 points in this spot.

It might seem like nothing is standing in the Aces’ path to the WNBA Finals, but the Storm are capable of keeping things close. These two teams split the four-game series in the regular season. Neither team was favored by more than five in any game.
In fact, the last time these two teams met was during Las Vegas’ win streak on Aug. 8. The Aces closed as a 1-point home favorite before earning a 90-86 win. I think the spread has climbed too far now that it’s more than two possessions.
During this 16-game win streak, Las Vegas has had seven games decided by six points or fewer. Six of those games came against teams that made the playoffs.
While I still expect the Aces to win on Sunday night, I don’t think the spread is giving the Storm enough respect to keep things interesting. At -110 odds, I’ll take the points to net $9.09 on a $10 bet.

Seattle rookie Dominique Malonga, the youngest player in the WNBA at 19 years old, had a big performance against the Aces last time out. She scored 20 points on 9-of-12 shooting. She’s become a key part of Seattle’s rotation down the stretch.
And yet, I’m fading her scoring prop.
I think the market is a bit too high on Malonga’s impact in her playoff debut against arguably the best defender in the league in A'ja Wilson. Malonga averaged 7.7 points per game in her rookie season and cleared this prop only 14 times in 42 contests.
