Dream vs. Fever Prediction, Odds & Expert Picks: WNBA Best Bets for Sept. 16

Last Updated: September 16, 2025 10:00 AM EDT • 4 minute read X Social Google News Link

The Atlanta Dream are one win away from a trip to the semifinals when they travel to face the Indiana Fever, and I'm counting on them coming through in my Dream vs. Fever prediction.
The Dream are 4.5-point favorites after recording a 12-point win during Sunday’s Game 1, but I prefer the value on a discounted Over as part of Tuesday’s WNBA picks. I also like Allisha Gray to clear her scoring prop while leading Atlanta on the road.
Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on ESPN.
🏀 Dream vs. Fever prediction
WNBA expert picks made Monday; odds subject to change.
- Moneyline pick: Dream ML (-170 via Caesars) ⭐⭐⭐
- Against the spread pick: Fever +4.5 (-108 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐
- Over/Under pick: Over 157.5 (-110 via BetMGM) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
📝 Dream vs. Fever preview & best bet
⬆️ Over 157.5 (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Fever couldn’t hold up their end of the bargain for the Over to cash during Sunday’s Game 1, scoring 68 points in an 80-68 loss. It resulted in the total finishing Under by 12.5 points.
However, a change of venue could help Indiana’s offense. The Fever led the league while averaging 88.3 points per game at home this season. This will be Indiana’s first home playoff game since 2016, so expect an inspired effort on Tuesday.
I always like backing the Dream’s offense, too. Atlanta ranked second in offensive rating this season.
If both teams can do their part, this one should get Over a low total. This total is roughly 10 points lower than the average line for the four regular-season meetings between these teams.
At this -110 value, a $10 bet nets $9.09 through BetMGM, with an implied probability of 52.38%.
💰 Best Dream vs. Fever player prop bet
⬆️ Allisha Gray Over 16.5 points (-108) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

After cashing this ticket in Game 1, I love going back to Gray’s scoring prop for Game 2. Gray scored 20 points on 5-of-16 shooting during Sunday's contest, which was roughly 14% lower than her regular-season field-goal percentage.
Gray has delivered in wins this campaign for Atlanta. She averaged 20.3 points per outing during regular-season victories for the Dream. I’ll back her at this price to profit $9.26 on a $10 bet through FanDuel, with an implied probability of 51.92%.

How do WNBA odds work?
When betting on the WNBA, the point spread shows how many points the favorite needs to win by in order to cash the bet. For example, a favorite of -5.5 must win by 6 or more points to cover the spread, while an underdog at +5.5 must win outright or lose by 5 or fewer points to cover the spread.
Moneyline odds represent the payout for picking the outright winner (+200 means a $100 bet wins $200, while -200 means a $200 bet wins $100). Over/Unders let you wager on whether the combined total will be higher or lower than the set number.
