The 2025 Westminster Dog Show is coming up fast, and it begins on Feb. 8.

There will be all the usual strutting, galloping, and tongue-wagging as the stars of the show take center stage, and we're breaking it all down with our look at the Westminster Dog Show odds.

The 149th running of the event will take place in New York from the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center and Madison Square Garden, airing on FOX. It's spread out over Feb. 8, 10, and 11 while featuring seven competitions, including agility, obedience, and even dock diving.

The highlight is the dog show, and the entire event culminates with the best in show honor being given out during the final night at Madison Square Garden.

But there was a significant upset, as a miniature poodle named Sage took home first place, the first time the breed has won in the lengthy history of the show.

The terrier group gets such short odds because it's been historically dominant while winning best in show a whopping 47 times. The sporting group is a distant second at 18.

It's been a historic few years filled with upsets, as two years ago the fantastically named Buddy Holly became the first ever from the petit basset griffon vendeen breed to take best in show.
