Lando Norris is the +150 betting favorite as I provide the Qatar Grand Prix odds and favorites for Sunday's race at Lusail International Circuit (11 a.m. ET, ESPN).
His teammate, Oscar Piastri, secured pole position for Saturday's sprint race. Max Verstappen, meanwhile, endured a tough go of it in sprint qualifying, finishing sixth. He is, however, still receiving the second-shortest odds to win in Qatar for the third straight time.

🏁 Early pick to win Qatar Grand Prix
Editor's note: Pick made on Monday, Nov. 24.
Max Verstappen (+125) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
What a turn the F1 season has taken since the start of September, with Verstappen winning four of the previous seven races, including in Las Vegas last week. I backed the four-time defending champ to win in Sin City, and I'm back on his bandwagon for Sunday's race.
The Dutchman is the defending back-to-back Qatar GP winner and has momentum on his side. With McLaren doing its utmost to self-implode at the season's most critical juncture, Verstappen must be as confident as he's been in a year.
While winning his fifth championship in a row might end up becoming a task too tall, he's certainly piling the pressure on Norris, whom he trails by 24 points in the Drivers' Standings.
Can Verstappen push Norris to the brink?
Norris, meanwhile, represents Verstappen's biggest threat. The Briton has won two of the previous three races and finished second in Vegas before he and teammate Oscar Piastri were disqualified for excessive wear on the plank underneath the car.
While he won't openly admit it, I'm sure Norris is wondering what he has to do to put a final nail in Verstappen's comeback bid. With only two races left, time will probably take care of that on Norris' behalf.
That won't impact Verstappen's performance on the weekend, though, and I expect the Dutchman to win his third straight at Lusail International Circuit.
His odds range from +100 to +125 at the best sports betting sites, with bet365 providing the latter. The +125 odds imply a 44.44% probability, and a winning $10 bet will profit $12.50.
