Nobel Peace Prize Odds & Prediction 2025: Will Trump Win Prestigious Award?
There's been further discussion of U.S. President Donald Trump tied to the Nobel Peace Prize odds, but the odds haven't moved amid a meeting with both Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Navalnaya is the widow of Alexei Navalny, the former leader of the opposition in Russia. She continues to play a significant role in the Russian opposition.
She told BBC last October that she intends to one day be president of Russia. "My political opponent is Vladimir Putin," she said. "And I will do everything to make his regime fall as soon as possible."
Navalnaya currently lives in Germany and also leads the Human Rights Foundation and the Anti-Corruption Foundation.

Trump has long coveted a Nobel Peace Prize, and finding a resolution for the conflict in Ukraine would surely increase his chances. That's no easy task, of course, though Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told the American president that he's nominating him.
An unlikely voice has added to that chorus, too. Hillary Clinton, who has long been an adversary of Trump and opposed him in the 2016 presidential election, said even she would support the president for the Nobel Peace Prize under the right circumstances around Ukraine.
"If he could end it without putting Ukraine in a position where it had to concede its territory to the aggressor, had to, in a way, validate Putin's vision of a greater Russia, but instead could really stand up to Putin. To make it clear, there must be a ceasefire," Clinton recently said on the "Raging Moderates" podcast, via The Hill.
"If President Trump were the architect of that, I'd nominate him for a Nobel Peace Prize," the former Secretary of State continued.
However, momentum on the Ukraine-Russian conflict has been inconsistent.
Trump recently met with Putin during their much-anticipated summit in Alaska. But a resolution was not announced, nor was a ceasefire of any kind. But he also met with Zelenskyy, and this time their conversation went far more smoothly than the one that turned confrontational earlier this year.
Other prominent European leaders were also present. Trump proposed security guarantees for Ukraine whenever a peace deal is finalized, and that's been a key sticking point for Zelenskyy, who's hopeful for a discussion soon with Putin. But the latter is expected to want Ukrainian land, and especially the Donbas region in the nation's east that Russian troops currently hold.
