Nothing compares to the grandiose occasion of the Monaco Grand Prix, and this year's race has all the makings of a classic with Ferrari and McLaren finally competing with front-runner Mercedes.
I've taken a look at the Monaco Grand Prix odds and favorites. For the first time this season, a Mercedes driver is not the betting favorite entering a race weekend. That title goes to Monégasque Charles Leclerc, who is the +175 betting favorite despite not finishing higher than third through five races.
Kimi Antonelli, who has won four races in a row, sits at a tasty +450 entering the pre-race events, which start early Friday. Sunday's race begins at 9 a.m. ET (ESPN).

🏁 Early pick to win Monaco Grand Prix
George Russell (+600) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
If Russell didn't have bad luck, he wouldn't have any luck at all. The Mercedes driver was flying all weekend in Montreal and was on his way to victory at the Canadian GP when disaster struck, and not for the first time this season.
After securing pole and prevailing in the sprint race, Russell's car suffered a power unit failure, ending his GP.
At some point, his luck has to turn. If he secures pole position for a second straight race, Russell should win for the first time since the opening race in Melbourne.
💰 Early picks & best bets for Monaco GP
Here's a look at the best alternatives on the board looking ahead to Sunday's race:
Kimi Antonelli (+450)
Kimi Antonelli has won four consecutive races, an incredible feat for the 19-year-old regardless of how dominant his car is.
While teams are finally bridging the performance gap, success in Monaco is intrinsically tied to winning qualifying, which Antonelli has done in three of five races. George Russell won the other two.
Of the 22 Monaco Grand Prix winners since 2003, only six have won without securing pole position. Sergio Perez, in 2022, was the last to triumph despite not securing pole. Antonelli is as confident as they come, and driving the world's best car only accentuates his swagger.
Charles Leclerc (+175)
Back on his home circuit, Leclerc is the betting favorite at the best sports betting sites. The Monégasque won the Monaco Grand Prix for the first time in 2024, and he finished runner-up to Lando Norris last year.
Leclerc has finished third or fourth in four of five races thus far, and Ferrari enjoyed their best result in Canada, finishing second and fourth.
Ferrari's car is improving each week, which provides Leclerc the platform to win in his homeland for the second time. I think he'll fall just short and finish second or third.
Lewis Hamilton (+500)
Lewis Hamilton finished second at the Canadian GP, his best result with Ferrari since joining them before the 2025 season. He's buzzing and feeling good heading into the showcase race of the season. Will that translate to his first win for Ferrari and fourth in Monaco?
If everything goes right, the Briton is in with a chance. He has two podium finishes this season, with third place in China to go along with second place in Montreal.
