Last year the Montreal Alouettes upset the Toronto Argonauts in the Eastern Division Final, this time the Argos will try to return the favor on Saturday at 3 p.m. ET (TSN/RDS, CFL+) from Percival Molson Memorial Stadium in Montreal, Que.

Last season, Montreal won this playoff matchup 38-17 before taking home the Grey Cup. Will we get as much scoring this time around?

Argonauts vs. Alouettes prediction: Chad keeps doing his best Jim impression

CFL picks confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale.

Over 51.5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Since Chad Kelly's return to the field from suspension, Toronto's offense has been one of the most explosive in the league. The team has hit the Over in seven of its last nine games, including three straight.

Kelly has clearly returned to his MVP form, too. Last week against the Ottawa Redblacks, he led a 58-38 win and accounted for five total touchdowns while going 18-for-20 with 358 yards. This offense is as good as it gets when he's playing at this level.

Toronto led the league in points per game this season (28.6) and was second in rushing yards per game (121.3) thanks to running back Ka'Deem Carey. Meanwhile, the Alouettes' defense has dropped off down the stretch, allowing 26 points per game over its last four games.

Fajardo to capitalize against flimsy D

The last time the Alouettes played the Argos was on Sept. 28, a 37-31 loss. If Montreal's going to win this time around, its offense will need Cody Fajardo to be at his best.

This Toronto defense has been sporadic as of late, giving up 31-plus points in five of its last six games. Fajardo's efficiency - second-highest QB rating in the league (105.6) - and plethora of pass catchers should help him hang the points needed for this Over to cash.

The Argos are 13-6 betting the Over this season, and if they hit it again, a $10 bet pays an $8.70 profit.
