It's the third straight day with just two Major League Baseball postseason games, and we dive into the two American League Division Series matchups to comprise our best home run predictions today

The Toronto Blue Jays have set a record with the most runs scored through the first two games of a single postseason in MLB history (23), and the most home runs through the first two playoff games (eight). Naturally, I am backing one of their sluggers to stay hot as the centerpiece of my home run picks even though the series shifts to Yankee Stadium.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Ben Rice, Eugenio Suarez, and Spencer Torkelson make up my home run MLB picks today. If all of them homer, the four-leg $10 parlay would net over $10,000 in profits.

💣 Best home run prediction today: MLB Divisional Series

Our MLB player prop odds tool shows the best odds for every market across legal sportsbooks in your area.

⚾  Vladimir Guerrero Jr., 1B, Blue Jays (+520) ⭐⭐⭐

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. made history on Sunday by hitting the first postseason grand slam ever for the Blue Jays franchise. His hot bat tells much of the story through the first two games, with Toronto out-scoring New York 23-8. Guerrero Jr. started 6-for-7 in the series, while the Yankees combined needed 44 at-bats to total six hits.

Nothing sums up the Blue Jays’ dominance so far like the fact that they have more home runs (eight) than team strikeouts (seven) in this series. That makes them just the second team in playoff history with more home runs than strikeouts through their first two games of a postseason.

When Guerrero Jr. homered in Game 1, it snapped a 21-game homerless drought dating back to Sept. 6 in the regular season. But now the slugger seems locked in with a 1.933 OPS through two postseason games. He is an excellent bet to homer again, given that he is 10-for-17 with a home run and a 1.608 OPS in his career against Carlos Rodon.

Guerrero Jr’s best home run implied odds are 20% through FanDuel’s +400 odds, but the best return on a winning $10 wager is through DraftKings’ +520 odds, which would net $52 in profits if he homers.
