The Los Angeles Dodgers just can't seem to get right, as they lost two of three at Fenway Park and now head to Great American Ball Park, the site of our Dodgers vs. Reds prediction for this showdown at 7:10 p.m. ET.

I know the Dodgers have been struggling lately, but they're still the Dodgers. It's even easier to back the NL West juggernauts when their ace, Yamamoto, is on the mound.

I'm not sure why our best sports betting sites have this one priced as tightly as they do, but it's certainly a mistake. Despite the Dodgers' recent struggles and the Reds' winning ways of late, these two teams aren't even on the same level.

The Dodgers rank tied for second in team wRC+ while the Reds are 23rd. The Dodgers have hit the second-most homers in the league, while the Reds sit 20th. The Dodgers own the second-best OPS, and the Reds are right in the middle of the pack.

As for Burns, he's shown some flashes and I think he'll be an excellent starter in the future, but he's not quite there yet. And if any lineup will punish a rookie pitcher experiencing some growing pains, it's the Dodgers'.

It never feels great to bet on someone to hit a home run at +150 odds, but, well, this is Ohtani we're talking about.

He's hit nine bombs during the last 30 days (88 at-bats) to get to 38 on the campaign, and he looks well on his way to back-to-back 50-homer seasons. This one is as much about Burns as it is Ohtani, though.

The rookie right-hander is allowing a ton of hard contact. His average exit velocity against is 90.6, and he's allowed a 51.9% hard-hit rate through five starts. His 1.66 home runs per nine innings are well beyond the danger zone for a starting pitcher, and he doesn't induce many ground balls.

There's a good reason why Ohtani has the second-best home run projection today, and despite the price not being exactly what I'd like, I'm still willing to bet it.
