Schwarber gets a better matchup against left-hander Blake Snell in Game 2. Schwarber led the team with a wRC+ of 162 against lefties this year, recording 46 RBI in 130 games. Schwarber has two hits, including one home run, in 14 career at-bats against Snell.
Of all the potential props, I like the +185 odds on Schwarber recording at least one RBI. Ballpark Pal’s model projects 0.56 RBI for Schwarber on Monday.
⬇️ Blake Snell Under 16.5 outs (+104) ⭐⭐⭐
Snell went seven innings against the Cincinnati Reds during the NL Wild Card series. It marked the longest postseason start of his career. Before that, his longest outing was 5 2/3 innings.
I’m not ready to overreact to one game, even if the Dodgers don’t have a lot of faith in their bullpen. They would like to avoid letting Snell face this Phillies lineup a third time, which is why THE BAT X’s model projects 13.5 outs.
I like the value on this Under at 16.5 outs, netting $10.40 on a $10 wager.
