The Mets are 18-31 since June 13, and only the Washington Nationals and Colorado Rockies have worse records in the National League in that span. But I am still backing New York to lead after five innings in this series opener with my Braves vs. Mets prediction, as hopefully coming home and having a day off gave the club a chance to recharge.

Nimmo has recorded an RBI in just one game during New York’s poor 1-11 stretch. But his career success against Strider has me backing him with my best Braves vs. Mets player prop.
