💪 Best MLB strikeout predictions today

Here's a breakdown of my best MLB strikeout prop predictions and expert picks today. Check out the rest of our MLB picks along with our guide on how to bet on MLB.

Carlos Rodon Over 5.5 strikeouts vs. Tigers (-148)

Rodon - who's featured in my best NRFI bets today - is a fantastic candidate to go over this 5.5 strikeouts today - across 56 plate appearances, the lefty is striking out the Tigers at a 33% clip (30% whiff rate), which includes Riley Green and Spencer Torkelson, who have both K'd at least four times in just 13 or fewer at-bats. They'll both do their part in hitting this over.

Brandon Sproat Over 4.5 strikeouts vs. Reds (-130)

Sproat doesn't have the largest sample size against the Reds, but over 14 plate appearances, he still owns a 30% K rate and is coming off a six-strikeout performance against the Guardians. It helps that Cincinnati has struck out the second-most in baseball, walking back to the dugout with their heads down at an average of 9.43 times per game. If Sproat can go deep today, five strikeouts is all but guaranteed.
