🤑 Best NRFI Bets Today for Tuesday (June 23)
We smashed our two-unit play yesterday for a nice little profit, and we're determined to fatten that wallet on this fine Tuesday. We're targeting high strikeout numbers between the Yankees vs. Tigers and Athletics vs. Giants to get the job done. The formula continues to work for us this season, so let's bring those units home with our best NRFI bets today.

š° Best NRFI bets today (Tuesday, June 23)
Yankees vs. Tigers NRFI (-145) - 6:40 p.m. ET
- Carlos Rodon (3.50 ERA) vs. Casey Mize (2.58 ERA)
- NRFI records: Yankees (37-40) vs. Tigers (42-36)
I wouldn't be surprised if I saw four strikeouts in total in the first frame - and no, I'm not kidding. Across 56 plate appearances, Rodon is striking out the Tigers at a 33% clip (30% whiff rate), which includes Riley Green and Spencer Torkelson, who have both K'd at least four times in just 13 or fewer at-bats. On the other side it's Mize, who's sitting down the Yankees at a 35% rate across 46 plate appearances against him. We could see a lot of swing-and-miss in the first inning, and I'm firing this up as my best NRFI bet today as a result.

Athletics vs. Giants NRFI (+105) - 9:45 p.m. ET
- Aaron Civale (4.91 ERA) vs. Robbie Ray (4.07 ERA)
- NRFI records: Athletics (32-46) vs. Giants (41-36)
There's nothing like a nightcap to tuck us in after a full day of winning NRFIs, amiright? Not only is Ray striking this Athletics team out at a 28% clip (33% whiff rate), but he's also limited them to a .230 xBA. That'll play, and we're taking our shot at plus-money because of it. On the other side is a sample size we absolutely love to see, with Civale holding the Giants to a .223 xBA and .278 xwOBA across 78 plate appearances. Matt Chapman (1-for-11), Rafael Devers (2-for-13, 6 Ks), and Willy Adames (1-for-7) will all be in tough tonight. Let's sweep the board.

Follow all of our MLB analysis and expert predictions for baseball season.
An NRFI (No Run First Inning) bet carries high variance, meaning success requires a disciplined, daily dive into the data. Before placing a wager, run through a strict checklist: analyze how the starting pitcher matches up against the top three hitters in the lineup, track underlying metrics like strikeout rates (K%) and expected batting averages (xBA), and review recent team-specific first-inning scoring trends. Because a single mistake or lucky hit can ruin the bet instantly, always use this daily routine to guide your wagers and scale your unit sizing accordingly to protect your bankroll.
