Welcome to our best strikeout props today for Wednesday, July 23.

We've fallen off over the last few days, but the best thing about betting is there's always an opportunity to get back on that horse the next day. We're 3-5 overall for the season, but I have a pair of plays I absolutely love to get us back in the win column.

Who's generating some whiffs for us today? Let's dive into my best strikeout picks and predictions using odds from the best sports betting sites.

We are tailing Glasnow once again, and I feel pretty good about it as part of our best strikeout props today. He has ridiculous numbers against the Twins, striking them out at a 50% clip across 51 at-bats. Yes, that's the highest strikeout rate we've seen in a specific matchup, and we're going to be riding it to the bank.

He hasn't gone Over this number yet this season, but he pitched into the sixth inning in his last start for the first time this year as he continues to ramp up since returning from injury.

At -140 betting odds, we're getting an implied probability of 58.33% at BetMGM. If you're looking for a bigger payout, I'd take a look at his Over 7.5 strikeouts, which can be found at DraftKings for +130.

We all know this by now - the Toronto Blue Jays simply refuse to strike out this season. It's actually getting incredibly impressive when taking a step back and looking at their season-long workload, too.

The Jays have struck out just 671 times this year - the next closest team is the Kansas City Royals at 699. So, yeah, it's a pretty smart idea to fade the opposing pitcher's strikeout number when taking to the mound against this lineup.

This play gives me even more confidence when considering Fried, who's only just inside the top 40 for K and whiff percentage among qualified starters this season. And the last time he saw Toronto, he sat down only two. Let's ride this Under as part of our best strikeout props today.

❓MLB betting FAQs

How do betting odds work?

Betting odds represent the probability of a specific outcome and determine how much money you can win on a bet. There are three main formats: American odds, Decimal odds, and Fractional odds. In the U.S., American odds are most common.

What is the run line in baseball?

The run line in baseball is a form of point spread betting unique to MLB. It typically sets a standard spread of 1.5 runs, meaning the favored team must win by at least two runs to cover the run line, while the underdog can lose by one run or win outright to cover.

What does moneyline mean in betting?

The moneyline in betting refers to a wager on which team or player will win the game outright, with no point spread involved. It’s the most straightforward type of sports bet - just pick the winner.
