As a Blue Jays fan, it's tough to admit, but Fried has owned them over the course of his career. Toronto is hitting just .194 across 76 plate appearances against the lefty, and that includes the likes of Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (2-for-14), George Springer (3-for-9), and Bo Bichette (2-for-8) - he'll likely see all of them in the first frame. Let's ride him as part of our best NRFI bets today.

On the other side, we have "The Hound," who hasn't done quite as well against the Yankees, but I believe he'll be serviceable enough in the first inning to get us the three outs we need. Remember what we said about riding the hot hand? Well, that's Bassitt right now. He's coming off a 6 1/3-inning shutout against the Giants, and he's allowed just one earned run over his last 13 1/3 innings pitched. One more inning of shutout baseball wouldn't hurt, would it?
