Nationals star James Wood has been ice-cold to start June, and yet he's still been one of baseball's best hitters this season. That's why I'm betting on a big bounce-back performance on Tuesday.

I'm fading Wood's teammate, MacKenzie Gore, but he's not the only pitcher I expect to struggle in this one. Mets starter Griffin Canning has been circling Regression Island for weeks now, and today is the day he finally washes up on shore.

Canning gives up a ton of hard contact, and Wood happens to annihilate the baseball regularly.

Following an extremely rough homestand, look for Wood to treat the Citi Field crowd to a show tonight, whether they like it or not.
