Europe won the last Ryder Cup 16.5-11.5 in Italy and returns much of the same roster after beginning the youth movement the last time around. Ludvig Aberg, Sepp Staka, and Robert MacIntyre will be key contributors in their second go around, and their first on American soil.

Since 1979, the first two days of the Ryder Cup are split between morning and afternoon waves, with each wave playing either the foursomes or fourball format. The host captain decides on the order of play for each day.
