Saturday's Genesis Invitational Round 3 prop picks is where moving day truly begins, and that makes it one of the best opportunities on the board for prop bettors. With the leaderboard tightening and players either chasing or protecting position, scoring volatility increases and matchup edges become clearer.

Third-round props offer sharp angles if you’ve been tracking ball-striking trends and putting splits through the first two rounds. The weather will be clear, and the field will be ready with Marco Penge and Jacob Bridgeman tied in the lead at -12. Let’s break down the best value plays heading into Saturday’s action that tee's off at 10 a.m. ET.

🏆 Who'll win the Genesis Invitational?

Here are my golf picks for Round 3 of the Genesis Invitational on Saturday:

Rory McIlroy (+185)

McIlroy has looked fantastic over the first two rounds of the Genesis Invitational. He has shown that he is in great form and is determined to continue his strong performance in pursuit of the win.

His ball-striking has been sharp, and he is gaining strokes both off the tee and with his approach play. When McIlroy is dialed in with his irons and putting confidently, he is extremely difficult to beat. If he maintains this level of consistency over the weekend, he will be firmly in contention and a serious threat to lift the trophy.

💰 Best Round 3 props for the Genesis Invitational

Jake Knapp: Top-20 finish (-120)

Jake Knapp has a strong case to finish inside the top 20 at the Genesis Invitational because his game sets up well for a demanding layout over the final two-days. He generates plenty of distance off the tee, which allows him to attack longer par 4s and create shorter approach shots into firm greens. When Knapp is driving it accurately, he gains a clear scoring edge and produces consistent birdie chances.

His recent form also suggests he is comfortable competing against elite fields. He has shown the ability to string together steady rounds without big mistakes, which is crucial in a tournament where patience is key. If he continues to strike his irons cleanly and putt at a slightly above-average level, he should remain within striking distance all weekend. With his combination of power, confidence, a top-20 finish is well within reach, especially with him currently T-18 at -4.

Sepp Straka: Top Continental European (+110)

Straka enters the weekend at T-18 at -4. His biggest competition for top Continental European honors is Ludvig Aberg and Alex Noren, who both sit at -2 entering the weekend. With Straka holding a two-shot lead and having played well over the last two weeks, I expect him to finish ahead of Aberg and Noren.

Straka’s ball-striking has been steady, and he has limited costly mistakes through the first two rounds. That consistency is crucial on a demanding course where avoiding bogeys can be just as important as making birdies. He has also shown confidence with the putter, converting key mid-range chances to maintain momentum. If he continues to drive the ball accurately and keep his approach shots dialed in, he should be able to protect his advantage. Given his current form and cushion on the leaderboard, Straka is well positioned to secure the top Continental European spot by Sunday.

Scottie Scheffler: Top-10 finish (+300)

This is going to be our long-shot pick of the article. Scottie barely made the cut, sitting at even par and T-43 entering the weekend. However, we have seen this script before. Just last week at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, Scheffler flipped the switch over the weekend and battled his way into the top five, highlighted by a blistering 63 in the final round.

When Scheffler finds his rhythm with his irons, he can climb a leaderboard quickly. His ball-striking remains elite, and if the putter cooperates even slightly, he becomes extremely dangerous. Being several shots back may actually free him up to play aggressively without pressure. With his proven ability to surge on moving day and close strong on Sunday, backing him as a long-shot entering the weekend carries real upside and significant value.
