Tulsa vs. Oklahoma State Player Prop Picks: Vailahi to Find Paydirt

I make the best Tulsa vs. Oklahoma State player prop picks for Friday’s 7:30 p.m. ET (ESPN) game at Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater, Okla. The Cowboys are the betting favorite by of at least 11 points (and up to 12.5), and one of the more popular college football picks for this week.
I’m expecting big things from the Oklahoma State running back duo of Sesi Vailahi and Kalib Hicks, as well as Tulsa wide receiver Zion Booker. Our college football predictions for Week 4 also include Mike Spector's in-depth Tulsa vs. Oklahoma State prediction.

🔥 Sesi Vailahi anytime touchdown scorer (+120) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Vailahi enters this game as one of the three touchdown scorers for the Cowboys this season. While he didn’t record a single carry against Oregon, he did have nine carries for 32 yards in the Cowboys’ Week 1 win over UT Martin.
On Friday, Vailahi will face a defense that has given up six of its eight touchdowns on the ground. Considering the Cowboys have only thrown one touchdown this season and have only managed 299 yards through two games, I expect multiple scores to come on the ground this week. While starting running back Kalib Hicks is probably more likely to score, his price isn’t as enticing.
bet365 is the only of our best sports betting sites with this price higher than -105. The price of +120 suggests a 45.45% chance he scores, while every other sportsbook is giving him a greater than 50% chance. A $10 bet would pay $12.
⬆️ Kalib Hicks Over 68.5 rushing yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
In Week 1, Hicks ran for just 56 yards against UT Martin, as he averaged just 2.7 yards per carry. However, he followed up that performance with a 63-yard game against Oregon, despite his team losing by 66.
Now, Hicks gets to take on a rush defense that allowed 367 yards and five touchdowns to Navy last week. The Golden Hurricane did hold New Mexico State to just 39 yards on 26 carries the week before, but that speaks more to how bad New Mexico State’s rushing attack is. As a team, they had just 78 rushing yards on 32 carries against Bryant.
In a good matchup that his team is expected to win, Hicks should have no trouble hitting a season high in carries and yards. The price of -114 at FanDuel suggests a 53.27% chance Hicks hits this Over. A $10 bet would pay $8.77.
⬆️ Zion Booker Over 42.5 receiving yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Booker has 23 catches for 214 yards and one touchdown this season. He’s averaging 9.3 yards per catch, and he has at least six receptions in all three of his games. His season low is 57 yards, and his season high is 90.
With all of that in mind, it’s shocking to see his total so low this week. The Golden Hurricane haven’t had a good start to the season, but Booker has been the one consistent piece of the offense, as he has 14 more receptions than anyone else on the team. I expect the game script to favor Booker, as the Golden Hurricane play from behind from start to finish, but easily rack up yards against a defense allowing 214.0 passing yards per game.
FanDuel’s price of -114 suggests a 53.27% chance he hits this Over. A $10 bet would pay $8.77.

How do college football player props work?
Player props are wagers on individual performances rather than the outcome of the game. Common props include passing yards, rushing yards, receiving yards, and touchdown scorers. For example, if a QB’s passing yards line is set at 250.5, you can bet the Over (251-plus yards) or Under (250 or fewer yards). You can also bet on if a specific player will score a touchdown in the entire game, the first or last touchdown, and more college football odds markets.
