Oregon vs. Indiana Predictions for the Peach Bowl: Odds & Best Bet College Football Playoff

My Oregon vs. Indiana predictions expect a similar outcome in the College Football Playoff semifinal to the one when these teams met in a Big Ten regular-season tilt. Friday's Peach Bowl gets underway from Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta at 7:30 p.m. ET (ESPN).
Indiana has shortened to a 3.5-point betting favorite in the penultimate matchup of our college bowl game predictions.

Indiana -4 (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
The first time these two teams played, the Hooisers went into Autzen Stadium and beat the Ducks by 10. That's one of four wins Indiana has against ranked opponents this season, and in those four ranked wins, Indiana has covered the spread each time.
The Hoosiers seem to always rise to the occasion under Curt Cignetti, and it certainly helps to have a Heisman-winning QB (Fernando Mendoza) and the No. 2-ranked defense by SP+.
Oregon has more flaws than Indiana, with inconsistent O-line play and depth questions in the secondary and at receiver.

- Moneyline: Oregon +150 | Indiana -180

Oregon vs. Indiana line movement
While Indiana has a double-digit-point win against Oregon this season, I expect the public to be fairly split on this Peach Bowl matchup, and for the line to see little movement leading up to kickoff. Both teams are ranked top three by SP+, and Oregon has more brand recognition to casual fans tuning into a major college matchup. I'd happily back Indiana to cover up to -6.5, and the Hoosiers are a must-play if they get bet down to any number under -3.
