While this week's slate might not stack up to last week's, there are still plenty of games to target with your college football best bets, including several Group of Five matchups that could be overlooked when making college football picks for Week 6.

There are also a trio of QBs suiting up on Saturday who are poised for big outings, and I'm backing all three as part of my college football predictions for Week 6.

🐾 Texas State -13.5 vs. Arkansas State (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

There's a reason GJ Kinne's name is popping up for the Oklahoma State job: He has San Marcos abuzz with how well Texas State has played during his tenure. The Bobcats are once again poised to be one of the top Sun Belt teams, and sit No. 69 in SP+ behind an offense that's No. 38.

With QB Brad Jackson, running back Lincoln Pare, and wide receiver Beau Sparks, Texas State should have no trouble scoring on an Arkansas State defense that's ranked outside the top 100 in both EPA per pass and rush. The Red Wolves just lost by 12 in Week 5 to a UL Monroe team that was favored by only 1.5 points ... so you could say Butch Jones' seat is heating up.

If Arkansas State fails to cover for the fourth time in five games, a $10 bet on Texas State pays a $9.09 profit.

🦁 Old Dominion -19.5 vs. Coastal Carolina (-106) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The best quarterback in the country nobody is talking about is in Norfolk, Va., leading Old Dominion to what could be the Monarchs' most successful season in close to a decade. Colton Joseph has taken down Virginia Tech and Liberty in back-to-back weeks and has Ricky Rahne's team sitting 3-1 ATS entering Week 6.

Joseph owns the second-highest big-time throw rate in the country (10%), and he's a dual-threat mismatch for Coastal Carolina - he's fourth in the country in rushing yards among QBs (395). He has ODU ranked No. 18 in EPA per pass and No. 40 in EPA per rush, and the Chanticleers aren't equipped to stop him and running back Trequan Jones. Coastal Carolina is just No. 107 in SP+ on defense.

With Coastal Carolina 1-3 ATS, Old Dominion is one of my favorite ATS picks this week. If the Monarchs cover, a $10 bet pays a $9.43 profit.

🐅 Memphis -20.5 vs. Tulsa (-105) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Memphis has been the best team in the Group of Five this season and leads the G5 College Football Playoff odds. Ryan Silverfield has this run game revving; the Tigers are No. 1 in the country in EPA per rush thanks to Brendon Lewis, Sutton Smith, and Gregory Desrosiers Jr.. Those three shouldn't have much trouble against a Tulsa defense that's No. 87 in SP+.

As for the Golden Hurricane offense? I wouldn't worry about it. Tulsa ranks outside the top 100 in EPA per rush and pass, and is averaging 17.5 points per game against FBS competition this season. And the Tigers are giving up just 16.3 points per game to G5 opponents.

Memphis has been my favorite team to bet ATS this season, and it's been paying off with the Tigers being one of just a few teams to be undefeated ATS (5-0). If they can cover again, a $10 bet pays a $9.52 profit.

⬆️ Sawyer Robertson Over 2.5 TD passes (+120) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Part of backing Sawyer Robertson is because he's been one of the best QBs in the country this season; the other part is because Baylor can't win unless he's throwing. The Bears' defense has been horrendous, ranking No. 86 in SP+, and this will likely be a shootout against a Kansas State team that's finally looking competent.

Robertson leads the country in touchdown passes (17), ranks No. 4 in big-time throws (12), and sits No. 22 in QBR (77.9). He's yet to throw for fewer than three touchdowns in a game this season, including throwing for three against an Auburn defense ranked No. 15 in SP+.

With the Wildcats sitting No. 66 in EPA per pass this season, I love the plus-money odds on Robertson recording his sixth straight game with at least three TD passes. If he does it, a $10 bet pays a $12 profit.

⬆️ Malik Washington Over 1.5 TD passes (-105) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

College Football Best Bets Week 6: Can Raiola Keep up His Mahomes Impression?

One of the best true freshmen in the country is a Big Ten QB, and no, I'm not talking about No. 1 recruit Bryce Underwood at Michigan. Maryland's Malik Washington has Mike Locksley's Terrapins undefeated and set to give Washington some major trouble on Saturday.

In his last game, Washington threw two touchdowns to lead an upset win over Wisconsin on the road, marking the third time in four games he's thrown at least two TD passes. The 6-foot-5, 231-pounder is only 18 years old, but he's looked like a future pro at times this season, ranking No. 32 in the country in big-time throws (7).

The Huskies will have their hands full stopping Washington and the Terps, with Jedd Fisch's team ranked No. 93 in EPA per pass on defense. If the freshman can throw for two TDs against Washington, a $10 bet pays a $9.52 profit.

⬆️ Dylan Raiola Over 244.5 passing yards (-112) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Patrick Mahomes stuff with Dylan Raiola might have some viewers feeling some sort of disdain toward the sophomore, but don't let that stop you from enjoying how good he is at just 20 years old. While he mimics Mahomes with his mannerisms, Raiola plays a lot more like his dad's old teammate, Matthew Stafford.

The Nebraska star is top 30 in the country in QBR (77.2), TD passes (11), and adjusted completion rate (81.1%). He's a sturdy pocket passer with the arm talent to make just about any throw, and he should torch a Michigan State defense that's No. 126 in EPA per pass and allows the most passing yards per game in the Big Ten (263.5).

Raiola is averaging 284.2 passing yards per game and has gone Over 244.5 in two of his last three games. If the Cornhuskers QB1 can do it again, a $10 bet pays an $8.83 profit.
