Clemson has won the ACC in eight of the last 10 seasons, while Miami has yet to win the conference since leaving the Big East. But with the Tigers' ugly showing against LSU to start the season, and then its loss to Georgia Tech, it doesn't appear that Dabo Swinney's program will be a college football championship odds contender this season.
The Hurricanes on the other hand? They've already knocked off two top 25 teams to start the season, Notre Dame and South Florida, behind the play of Carson Beck. The Georgia transfer has been so efficient that he's a Heisman Trophy odds favorite and has Miami ranked No. 1 in SP+ on offense.
