My Missouri vs. Oklahoma prediction based on the opening odds favors the Sooners in this matchup. Even if you don’t want to wait to learn who Missouri’s starting quarterback will be this week, our early picks believe No. 8 Oklahoma boasts the menacing defense to hold down the Tigers’ one-dimensional offense.
The action for Missouri vs. Oklahoma kicks off from Gaylord Memorial Stadium in Norman, Okla., Saturday at noon ET (ABC). Oklahoma is a 7.5-point betting favorite as part of our college football Week 13 predictions.

🅾️ Oklahoma -7.5 (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Missouri QB Beau Pribula was listed as doubtful on last week’s availability report up until being ruled out on Saturday, and his mobility during warmups suggests he could be close to a return. But his limitations as a passer were evident during SEC play, with Pribula only exceeding 171 passing yards in one conference game (at Auburn) before his injury.
In two home starts against Texas A&M and Mississippi State, true freshman Matt Zollers looked overwhelmed, totaling 189 combined passing yards. Missouri isn't poised to attack the Sooners through the air, even though Oklahoma has given up 344.7 passing yards per game over its last three games.
Missouri makes its hay on the ground with Ahmad Hardy, who ran for 300 yards last week against Mississippi State. But Oklahoma’s elite run defense hasn't allowed a 100-plus-yard rusher in conference play all year. BetMGM lists the odds at -110 for Oklahoma -7.5. The implied probability at those odds is 52.38% and the profit on a $10 bet would be $9.09.

↔️ Missouri vs. Oklahoma line movement
The opening spread of Oklahoma -9.5 on lookahead lines has moved to between Oklahoma -7.5 and -8.5 this week. Pribula’s status taking a turn for the better could mean Oklahoma bettors might get slightly better value later in the week.
But since I like the current value at -7.5 due to an expectation that Missouri will struggle offensively (the team total is 16.5), I won’t criticize if you’re ready to get to the window at this number.
