The No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs play host the Florida Gators on Saturday. Read on for our top Florida-Georgia picks.
With the exception of one scare against Missouri, the Georgia Bulldogs have been absolutely dominant in 2022. They're allowing just 9.1 points per game while averaging 41.7, and the school has recorded two shutouts already.
Meanwhile, the Florida Gators have been enduring a roller-coaster season. After knocking off Utah in Week 1, the expectations for them went through the roof. However, the Gators have been struggling en route to a 4-3 record, very nearly losing to South Florida and Missouri in the process.

Florida vs. Georgia Picks

Florida vs. Georgia ATS Pick
Florida +22.5 (-105) ★★★★
The Gators have been playing up and down to their competition following a season-opening win over Utah. They suffered only a five-point defeat to Tennessee after barely surviving during a 31-28 victory over USF.
Meanwhile, the Bulldogs are outscoring their opponents 97-10 after nearly losing at Missouri in early October. However, Georgia's schedule leaves a lot to be desired. While the Bulldogs have been playing great for most of the season, they've faced only one ranked opponent, and that came way back in Week 1 against Oregon.
With this being a neutral-site game played in Florida, Gators fans will be traveling to support their team. That mixed with the Gators' tendency to play up to their competition and Georgia’s lack of strong opponents should keep this matchup within three scores.
Florida vs. Georgia O/U Pick
Under 56.5 (-107) ★★
The Bulldogs are allowing fewer than 10 points per game. They're sure to give up more than that against the Gators this week, but will Georgia allow enough for the Over to cash? Florida is allowing 28.1 points per game, which certainly bodes well for the Bulldogs, who are averaging 41.7 points per contest.
However, the Under always seems to find a way to hit when Georgia plays. Generally, the Under has cashed when the Bulldogs don’t give up any points, but it's also hit during close contests.
The Gators’ defense has been all over the place, but the unit has coughed up 40-plus points only once, holding opponents to fewer than 30 points in five of seven games. The Under will hit easily if that performance is repeated against Georgia.

Florida vs. Georgia Prop Pick
Florida team total Over 16.5 (-122) ★★★
The Bulldogs have given up 20-plus points just twice all season, but the Gators have scored fewer than 20 only once. The Bulldogs are the better squad, but they struggled against Missouri and Kent State, two of the three best offenses the team has faced.
Anthony Richardson will need to limit his turnovers, but his passing and rushing versatility may pose problems for a Georgia defense that hasn't dealt with a mobile quarterback in 2022. The Gators scored a mere seven points against Georgia in 2021. But they had tallied 17-plus points in three straight games against the Bulldogs prior to that.
This Gators’ offense is much different than it was in 2021, and the Bulldogs’ weak competition is inflating their defensive numbers.
