💰 Best Diego Pavia player prop picks for Week 11
⬆️ Diego Pavia Over 205.5 passing yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐
Auburn’s defensive front is one of the best in college football. The Tigers lead the SEC in line yards allowed per rush (1.8). While Vanderbilt’s offensive line is a solid second in line yards generated per rush (3.4), I suspect the Commodores will have to lean on the passing game more to win this game.
Last year, Vanderbilt went into Auburn and won despite generating only 227 yards, including only 143 passing yards from Pavia. Still, it’s fair to project a bounce-back game with the Commodores at home and Auburn ranked a shaky 75th in yards allowed per pass attempt (7.4). Look for Pavia to flash as the Tigers adjust to life under interim head coach DJ Durkin.
Lock in Pavia for Over 205.5 passing yards for -114 (53.3%) at FanDuel to score an $8.77 profit on a $10 bet.
⬆️ Diego Pavia Over 1.5 passing touchdowns (+130) ⭐⭐⭐
Again, Auburn’s solid defensive front will make running the ball difficult for Vanderbilt. While Pavia is a talented rusher and has racked up six rushing scores on the year, I expect him and the Commodores to get most of their touchdowns through the air on Saturday. Pavia is averaging two passing scores per game this year and is two passing touchdowns shy of his total from last year.
When Vanderbilt went into Auburn last year, the Commodores relied on Pavia’s arm to get into the end zone. His first touchdown came on a 28-yard explosive, and his second came on a four-yard toss to tight end Eli Stowers after a pair of stuffed rushing plays. Back him to repeat that performance for +130 (43.5%) at BetMGM for a $13 profit on a $10 bet.
⬇️ Diego Pavia Under 42.5 rushing yards (-114) ⭐⭐
While usually facing a strong defensive front may lend itself to successful scrambles, the risk of sacks and Pavia’s reliance on designed runs complicates things. Vanderbilt’s offensive line won’t generate the same push Pavia is used to getting up the middle, which will limit the effectiveness of those designed rushing plays.
With Auburn’s defense also ranked a solid 15th in sacks per game (2.8), there is a solid chance that Pavia’s positive rushing contributions could be offset by loss of yardage on dropbacks. The Tigers held him to just 26 yards on the ground over 12 attempts last year, so back him to stay Under this line for -114 (53.3%) at FanDuel.
