My Army vs. Navy player props highlight a trio of players who will directly impact today's Commander-in-Chief's Trophy showdown. Navy is a 6.5-point betting favorite ahead of kickoff from M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore at 3 p.m. ET (CBS).

Cale Hellums, Blake Horvath, and Eli Heidenreich serve as the cornerstone of my college football predictions today.

Cale Hellums player prop: Under 64.5 passing yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Navy has the second-worst pass defense in the American, allowing 255.5 passing yards per game. But that means nothing considering Army is averaging just 78.3 passing yards per contest.

Hellums has just two games with more than 64 yards passing this season. He’s completed two or fewer passes in six of his 10 games, while attempting at least 10 passes just four times.

Navy is allowing 8.2 yards per pass attempt, and while Hellums is averaging over 14 yards per completion, it would still likely take at least five completions for him to hit this Over. He’s completed that many passes just four times this year.

FanDuel’s price of -114 implies a 53.27% chance that this Under hits. A $10 bet would profit $8.77.

Our Rob Paul breaks down the history of this famous matchup in his Army vs. Navy game total trends.

Blake Horvath player prop: Over 108.5 rushing yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This season, Horvath has rushed for 1,040 yards. He’s averaging 6.0 yards per carry, and he’s reached at least 110 yards in six games. The only reason this isn’t a five-star play is that he’s entering this game rushing for 60 or fewer yards in back-to-back contests.

But Horvath ran 25 times for 204 yards and two touchdowns in last year’s meeting with Army. That Army team allowed just 107.8 rushing yards per game. This year’s team is allowing 147.1 and 4.5 yards per carry.

Caesars is the only major sportsbook currently offering this prop at 108.5, as every other sportsbook has it set at 109.5 or higher. The price of -114 implies a 53.27% chance that the Over hits. A $10 bet would profit $8.77.

Our Brenden Schaeffer also likes this one enough to play it in his Army vs. Navy same-game parlay.

Best Army vs. Navy touchdown scorer prediction

Eli Heidenreich TD pick: Score a touchdown (+165) ⭐⭐⭐

Considering the Under has hit in 16 consecutive meetings between these two teams, it’s hard to have a lot of confidence in anyone to score when making the best Army vs. Navy player props. With most of the key players like Hellums, Horvath, and Alex Tecza having prices of -110 or worse to score, it’s hard to justify paying such a price in what should be a low-scoring game.

Therefore, I’ll take a shot on Heidenreich. He has seven touchdowns this season. He has caught four of the nine receiving touchdowns for Navy, and he’s the only receiver with more than 16 receptions (40) and 158 yards (805) on the team. He also has three rushing touchdowns, and he has 62 carries, which is third-most on the team.

FanDuel’s price of +165 implies a 37.74% chance that Heidenreich scores. A $10 bet would profit $16.50.

Paul has a Heidenreich and Horvath same-game parlay as his best play in his Army vs. Navy prediction, and our Mike Spector has Heidenreich as one of his Army vs. Navy anytime touchdown scorer predictions.
