The New York Mets and Caesars Sportsbook announced a multi-year sports betting partnership that will bring a Caesars lounge to Citi Field during the 2022 MLB season on Wednesday.
However, a retail sportsbook won’t be available until lawmakers pass a bill to allow it. It is something that’s currently being discussed.

The long-term plan is to transition the lounge into Caesars Sportsbook at the Metro Grille.
As it stands, the upscale 13,000 square foot space will enable fans to utilize the Caesars Sportsbook app on the Excelsior Level at Citi Field with a multi-tiered dining room that includes outdoor patio seating with a panoramic view overlooking left field.

"New York is a key state for us following the successful launch of our Caesars Sportsbook app in January," said Chris Holdren, Co-President of Caesars Digital. "The Mets' fanbase is one of the most loyal in baseball and this partnership offers us the chance to treat those passionate fans like Caesars. We look forward to opening our space at Citi Field during an exciting time for the franchise."
The partnership will give Caesars access to official New York Mets logos and marks, TV-visible in-game signage, and broadcast and digital contest across Mets’ properties.
Caesars also partnered with the Arizona Diamondbacks and Food Network personality and celebrity chef Guy Fieri to launch a restaurant inside the soon-to-open sportsbook inside Chase Field.
