Kenny Pickett Most Bet To Be First QB Selected in 2022 NFL Draft
Quarterback Kenny Pickett has received the largest betting handle and most betting tickets to be the first quarterback selected in the 2022 NFL Draft at BetMGM.
The University of Pittsburgh alum is +130 at the sportsbook to be the first signal-caller picked in Thursday’s draft with 37.6% of tickets and 48.3% of the money wagered on the prop.
BetMGM has former Liberty University QB Malik Willis listed as the favorite to be the first quarterback selected at -175 odds, and Willis has received 32.0% of the tickets and 39.4% of the money wagered.

Note the significant gap in betting handle percentage compared to the ticket percentage on Hall to be the first running back selected. He’s also a hefty favorite, despite Walker receiving more betting tickets.
When the handle percentage is significantly higher than the ticket percentage it’s often a sign of sharp money.

This market is another example where there have been larger wagers on Wilson to be selected as the first wide receiver than Williams. Drake London, on the other hand, has taken a number of smaller wagers.

In this market, there’s been a lot of recent momentum and larger wagers coming in of late on Ekwonu to be the first offensive lineman selected. Interestingly, Neal was once in the conversation to be the No. 1 overall selection of the 2022 NFL Draft.

Even with all the liability attached to Stingley Jr., the bookmakers at BetMGM aren’t adjusting to make him the favorite to be the first cornerback selected in the 2022 NFL Draft.
