Sports betting and daily fantasy sports company FanDuel has announced that its new progressive jackpot system, FanDuel Casino Jackpots, is now live in Pennsylvania.

The FanDuel Casino Jackpots can be linked to several table or slot games to generate bigger wins. Any new or existing FanDuel Casino player will be able to access the new jackpot games, and for an additional $0.10 for each wager, will have a chance of winning the Mini, Minor, Major, or Mega jackpot associated with that game.

The Jackpots product is now live in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Michigan. Since it was first released earlier this year, an estimated 50,000 players have won a Jackpots prize through the FanDuel Casino site, at a rate of around 1,500 winners each day.

Casino Collaboration

FanDuel Casino Jackpots is the result of a collaboration between FanDuel and BeyondPlay, a player engagement company that FanDuel acquired in February last year.

“We are incredibly proud to deliver on our promise to the FanDuel team by providing them with best-in-class jackpot technology, leveraging the deep expertise of our team at BeyondPlay,” says Karolina Pelc, Chief Executive Officer of BeyondPlay. “This launch is something we’ve been eagerly anticipating, and seeing it go live across three states is a true testament to the strength of collaboration between our teams — now all part of FanDuel.”

Kentucky Derby Build-Up

It’s a busy period for FanDuel. The expansion of their FanDuel Casino Jackpots product comes as the company is building up towards the 151st Kentucky Derby

FanDuel’s association with the race is in its second year and will be marked by the second annual FanDuel Kentucky Derby Party. The event will be held at Old Forester’s Paristown Hall in Louisville, on the evening of the race, and will be headlined by rising country star Shaboozey.

The company is also offering a range of promotions linked to the historic race, and FanDuel TV will be broadcasting from Churchill Downs throughout Derby week.

The Derby is the highlight of the US horse racing calendar and is considered a huge event for our best sports betting sites. Last year’s race produced a record figure of $210.7 million in wagers, out of just over $320 million wagered across all of the week’s events.

The big talking point ahead of this year’s race is the return of controversial trainer Bob Baffert, who has won six times but is returning from a three-year suspension. Baffert is due to saddle two entries in the race: Citizen Bull, who has been drawn in post position one, and Rodriguez, who finished second behind Citizen Bull in a Grade 3 race in January.
