FanDuel and PokerStars Partner with Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment

FanDuel and PokerStars announced a partnership with Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment on Friday.

The agreement will see FanDuel Sportsbook designated as an official sports betting partner, and PokerStars as an official gaming partner of MLSE.

However, it’s worth noting the launch of PokerStars remains subject to successful registration by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario and completion of an operating agreement with iGaming Ontario.

It’s worth adding that both FanDuel and PokerStars are both Flutter Entertainment plc brands, and this is the first time multiple Flutter brands have been involved in the same agreement in North America.

FanDuel Sportsbook, PokerStars Casino and PokerStars will be prominently featured through Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Raptors games with rink board and on-court signage. Similarly the sportsbook and gaming platforms will have use of the MLSE team logos for advertising and marketing.

Furthermore, the partnership will also allow FanDuel Sportsbook and PokerStars to work on marketing collaborations with all of MLSE's teams, including the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Raptors, Toronto FC, Toronto Argonauts and Toronto Marlies.
