Bettors hoping to find a smaller number on Los Angeles to win Super Bowl LVI will want to race to Caesars Sportsbook after their line dipped -3.5 in favor of the Rams.

Note the Rams will remain -3.5 favorites for 24 hours.

A book spokesperson said, “We want to see what Rams money is out there,” David Payne Purdum tweeted out Thursday morning.

Yesterday, the book released the following betting trends ahead of the championship game:

Spread: 66 percent of tickets on Bengals, and 57 percent of the handle on RamsMoneyline: 78 percent of tickets and 82 percent of the handle on Bengals

There are a couple of key takeaways here.

First, lowering the Rams’ number should limit Caesars’ Bengal's liability. Additionally, it’s worth wondering just how much of the Cincinnati spread handle is accounted for by Mattress Mack’s $4.5 million wager on the Bengals.

Finally, it will be interesting to see if other books follow Caesars’ lead and drop the Rams spread.
