"Mattress Mack" places $4.5 million Super Bowl bet on the Cincinnati Bengals
He's done it again!
Jim "Mattress Mack" McIngvale, the legendary Houston furniture salesman, made famous for his high-end wagers and promotions, is making headlines once again after placing his largest bet to date - a $4.5 million Super Bowl LVI moneyline wager with Caesars Sportsbook on the underdog Cincinnati Bengals to defeat the Los Angeles Rams at +170 odds.

The $4.5 million bet goes down as the largest mobile sports wager of all-time and currently becomes the second largest Super Bowl wager ever made. Back in 2002, an unknown bettor placed $4.9 million on the St. Louis Rams at -900 odds, but that didn't work out very well. The final score in the 2002 Super Bowl - New England Patriots 20, St. Louis Rams 17.
McIngvale, a Texas native, had to drive from Texas into Louisiana to place the bets. He did so in his car while pulled over at a gas station. "I had to make like twenty $200,000 bets to make it work," McIngvale said, according to ESPN.
This prompted the following response from Ken Fuchs, Head of Sports at Caesars Sportsbook.

If his recent streak of bets is any indication, the Bengals might be in trouble. In January alone, McIngvale placed the following bets, losing $4.7 million in just 6 days.
