5 Quarterbacks to Watch

Trey Lance, San Francisco 49ers

Set to command the 49ers offense after starting just two games as a rookie last season, Lance is surrounded by talented playmakers and a solid offensive line featuring superstar left tackle Trent Williams.

Lance should garner a few of the rushing attempts wide receiver Deebo Samuel handled last season, and tight end George Kittle and wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk pair with Samuel to form an admirable pass-catching corps.

While definitely still raw as a professional, the athletic signal caller is positioned to have a solid statistical season in head coach Kyle Shanahan’s proven offense.

Top Lance Props

Over 21.5 Passing Touchdowns (-110 DraftKings)

Over 5.5 Rushing Touchdowns (-110 DraftKings)

Over 3500.5 Passing Yards (+110 DraftKings)

Over 500.5 Rushing Yards (+115 DraftKings)

Matt Ryan, Indianapolis Colts

The offseason drum of positivity has been steadily beating since Ryan joined the Colts, and his experience leading prolific offenses should prove to be welcomed quickly in Indianapolis.

All-Pro running back Jonathan Taylor paced the NFL in yards from scrimmage last season, and his big-play ability will need to be accounted for by opposing defenses. In turn, Ryan should be able to flourish through the air, and he was also the league’s most accurate passer on 20-plus-yard attempts last season.

Ryan also has a talented collection of pass-catchers at his disposal with third-year wide receiver Michael Pittman poised for a breakout campaign after compiling 88 receptions for 1,082 yards and six touchdowns last season.

Top Ryan Props

Over 24.5 Passing Touchdowns (-112 FanDuel)

Over 25.5 Passing Touchdowns (+100 DraftKings)

Over 3,750.5 Passing Yards (-115 Caesars)

Over 3900.5 Passing Yards (-110 DraftKings)

Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins

An improved offensive line, the addition of speedy wide receiver Tyreek Hill, and continued development from wideout Jaylen Waddle are all huge positives as Tagovailoa heads into his third season in the league.

Add a deep stable of running backs to reliable tight end Mike Gesicki, and the experience of pass-catchers Cedrick Wilson and Mohamed Sanu, and the Miami offense could prove to be sneaky deep.

Now, Tagovailoa just needs to stay healthy and take his own step forward. First-year head coach Mike McDaniel should also bring much needed play-calling creativity and further set the table for the 24-year-old signal caller to post career-high numbers across the board.

Top Tua Props

Over 24.5 Passing Touchdowns (-112 FanDuel)

Over 25.5 Passing Touchdowns (+100 DraftKings)

Over 3,750.5 Passing Yards (-115 Caesars)

Over 3950.5 Passing Yards (-105 DraftKings)

Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville Jaguars

The franchise quarterback failed as a rookie under former head coach Urban Meyer, but the organization underwent a coaching and roster overhaul during the offseason, and Lawrence’s outlook is much rosier – on paper, at least.

In particular, re-signing left tackle Cam Robinson, adding five-time Pro Bowl right guard Brandon Scherff in free agency, and selecting center Luke Fortner in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft should be a huge help to the sophomore quarterback.

The one-two punch out of the backfield Travis Etienne and James Robinson should also keep opposing defenses honest. Additionally, Jacksonville added wide receivers Christian Kirk and Zap Jones, and tight end Evan Engram through free agency to give the pass-catching group a fresh look.

Top Lawrence Props

Over 22.5 Passing Touchdowns (-115 Caesars)

Over 22.5 Passing Touchdowns (-110 DraftKings)

Over 3,800.5 Passing Yards (-142 FanDuel)

Over 4000.5 Passing Yards (-110 DraftKings)

Daniel Jones, New York Giants

Long on talent and potential, but short on results, Jones enters his fourth season in a prove-it situation. The recipe might finally be right for him to succeed, though.

Running back Saquon Barkley, and wide receivers Kadarius Toney and Kenny Golladay headline a talented skill-position corps, and the Giants once again addressed their offensive line during the 2022 NFL Draft by selecting right tackle Evan Neal seventh overall.

Of course, first-year head coach Brian Daboll will probably prove to be the biggest addition for the G-Men. He helped Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen fulfill his superstar potential while serving as the organization's offensive coordinator the past four years, after all.

Top Jones Props

Over 22.5 Passing Touchdowns (-102 FanDuel)

Over 21.5 Passing Touchdowns (-120 DraftKings)

Over 3,449.5 Passing Yards (-112 FanDuel)

Over 3,600.5 Passing Yards (-115 Caesars)
