then the final set, she couldn't move well anymore...

I wasn't aware of the injury. My money was on Elena, and I saw her 'almost' twist her ankle end of 2nd set, wasn't sure she is going to make it to the end. I only saw video of Halep's injury after the game was over. It all makes perfect sense, I feel sorry for the woman but not for Elena beating her.
If these two meet in French Open final or semifinal.. is Svitolina +200 again?

It was more like a race of who retires first. Good thing both ladies where a class act and battled until the end.
Svitolina always an outside bet, but has one of the better h2h versus wta's top 10. Especially loves whooping so called no. 1 from Germany
