Rafa is obviously keying on the French. I would expect he might just play one more tourney before Roland Garros to keep himself fresh, but in-form. No futures available at my book, but I would look at JCF & Ferrer now without Nadal has a wideopen quarter. Verdasco or Gonzalez being the 2nd choice on that side. For Tuesday:

Gulbis-Melzer parlay [-107]: Melzer gets Lapentti as a replacement for Nalbandian and that is very winnable. Gulbis should outlast Luczak.

Chela-Soderling OVER 21.5: Soderling might be carrying a minor injury after how bad Berdych beat him & Chela has loads of confidence. This might be my favorite of the day, I THINK.

Others, I would THINK about ... Ilhan-Hewitt OVER 21.5. Hewitt for me just has not played enough tennis to trust to come in and roll + the injury rehab questions. Ilhan is a good young player, although inexperienced on this surface.

I thought about Chardy today also and it was a good spot to do it - still don't trust him as a favorite until he has more consistency. Hit the OVER on Ilhan-Hewitt. Not impressed with Hewitt, still think he's not 100%.

Ummm my tennis record for the year, I haven't kept an accurate count as I have just been using this as kind of a think tank now, but I'd guess maybe 53-55% winners. Seems to run in phases, hot & cold for each tournament.

Tallahassee Challenger at 11am ET ... Lindahl is still a slight underdog to Kevin Kim again. Lindahl won as a bigger dog [think it was +150] at Baton Rouge last week. He had 17 aces. At -110, taking a flyer on Lindahl again. Love this young Aussie on hard courts against guys just collecting checks like Kim.

One other Barcelona one to consider I THINK ... Almagro-Greul over possibly at 19.5. They played a 3 setter in Monte Carlo last week. Almagro's serve was superb yesterday, but it's not always on. If it is, this play will probably get beat - but if it's average or worse like last week, Greul can stick around.

Another Challenger good for parlay usage ... Tobias Kamke at -190. Starts at 11:15am ET supposedly. Kamke made the Baton Rouge final last week. Going against Capdeville who isn't a good hard court player and has miserable form. Maybe team with Sweeting at Tallahassee also for a decent payday.

Greul is gonna beat me two days in a row. 1st for winning when I was against him yesterday and today he stinks. Lost 6-1 in the 1st. Almagro's serve is very good again. Over is boned.

Damn 5Dimes had the wrong start time. Was an hour earlier. Lindahl just won in a 3rd set tie break.

Soderling-Chela OVER is a certainty now regardless of the outcome. Challenger might be rained out for awhile today, so might have to wait for the parlay results later if I can find them anywhere.

Thanks. Got the 1st half of the Challenger parlay as Kamke won in straights. Cannot find out if Sweeting's match has started or if the rain is back or what. Looks like the prices are getting into the bettable range in Barcelona now that the rounds are progressing. Still looking, but one that I'd run away from FAST ... Gulbis-Chardy. I don't want any part of that one. JCF UNDER tomorrow over Stakhovsky is probably solid depending on where it's set. IF it's as high as 18.5, I still like it. Could be a high chalk parlay to be made: Tsonga, F.Gonzalez, JCF. Not sure though because it'd be -250 still. Gonna churn some #s and wait for the totals to be set before settling in on some plays.

Hanescu at +120 against Bellucci sticks out, probably would like the OVER here too if it's 21.5. 22, I'd have to think, but this could be a 3 set battle or at least two tight sets.
