Nice picking today Eagles. I tried to get on ur Gasquet pick but I was too late. Got on Zeballos tho. Thanks for that one. Anyone see that Clijsters got knocked out today? I bet Clijsters yesterday and she didn't look good. I thought it might just have been moving to the clay plus might have been not too into the match as well. It seemed like she could turn it on when she wanted to. Lucky I didn't get up early enough to see her on the board cause I would have bet her.

From the #s, looks liek Clijsters serve was absolute dog shit today. She offered 19 break points and only saved 10. 8 double faults also. Hewitt needs to snag a break and remove the drama out of his match.

Damn man. Hewitt broke him and then served for the match but got broken. Now he's about to get broken again. WTF!!!

Yeah and I can't see who won. It was 5-2 Hewitt in the tiebreak and then score thing went out!

I see that Hewitt won. Great! Would have been a great day except Lapentti lost. I bet him yesterday and won so I have him another try today and he got upset.

That's what Hewitt gets for not playing any competitive tennis since January! He gets Chela next, he's totally owned him.

You must be on crack bookies, Gasquet at -385 over Hanescu. A bigger favorite over a competent clay court player than he was over a total schmuck on Golubev? I THINK I'll wait to see the O/U. but those are juicy odds on Hanescu.

I THINK I like the O/U between Wawrinka and El Amrani which is set at 18.5. El Amrani has been the upset machine in Morocco and while I don't particularly know if he can pull off another against a higher caliber competitor in Wawrinka, I THINK he can stay competitive if he continues to use his serve to fire in aces for cheap points. I THINK the OVER is my first play.

Kubot is a real uneven player at times it seems. He could very well come out and smoke Starace in the 2nd set or he could get bageled. Hope he turns it around.

man kubot fked up, I have no appreciacion for starace's tennis abilities and thought kubot would win this but that wasnt a tennis match, that was a slaughter, kubot only won 10 points on his serve, in the whole match!!! Im sure if i went out there i would get more points than that, and ive never picked up a tennis racket in my life

i think over 18.5 for wawrinka is a good bet, amrani looking good and wawrinka almost lost yesterday to a guy which is at amrani's level, we'll see

                                        Things I THINK I Know ... Friday, April 9th ....

The price continues to plummet on Gasquet as he's now down below -300. I THINK perhaps the books set it stupidly high for a reason, to get more action in. If you failed to get Hanescu at anything close to +270 or above, I THINK you might want to sit this out. O/U is 21 with the juice predicting an OVER. I THINK I would agree with that more than an UNDER. 2nd serve is where Hanescu keeps this close or gets crushed.

I THINK Serra-GGL is one to avoid. GGL won easily in his opener, but there was a late influx of money behind him indicating perhaps his opponent was injured? Serra isn't always good on clay, but has his stretches where he can be competitive. It's a coin toss and my coin landed on the side ... of not playing this.

I THINK the price on Hewitt-Chela has come down close to the point where you can maybe make a case for the Aussie. He certainly struggled here yesterday to put away an inferior opponent, but he has owned Chela. Hewitt is 5-2, but they have not met since 2009 at the US Open. The one clay court meeting went to Hewitt in straights two years ago. Chela played a choppy match against Schwank where he dominated two sets and got killed in the other. Will the real Juan Ignacio Chela please stand up? If he does, I THINK Hewitt wins. Hewitt is working back from hip surgery and I am willing to test the waters and say he only gets better with more match play.

I THINK I am on Odesnik to beat what could be a gassed Xavier Malisse after being on court for almost 2 hours, 40 minutes yesterday vs. Isner. Odesnik has played well in Houston for two years in a row and the price I THINK is right.

Wawrinka bitch slapped the kid today. El Amrani's serve wasn't a factor at all, so the OVER got squashed.

I agree with Odesnick. The win over Kukushkin was even more dominant than it appears as well. He had a look at 16 break points, a good sign that he is returning well.

Price has definitely swung toward him being backed solidly. He was around even this morning, now about -120.

Hewitt looking awful, definitely not healthy I would suppose. He has no serve whatsoever and no return game. Lost a little on him, but went light. Going to go a little heavier on Odesnik, I THINK. Go hGh! Could be his last event for awhile, so go out with a bang hGh!

Odesnik cruises after a tough 1st set. Makes the day worth it!

OVER 20.5 is what I THINK is the best shot. Zeballos has held his serve well so far and Gonzo of course usually does the same. Gonzo has amazingly played six straight three set matches on clay in tournaments with the Best of 3 format. Seems like a strikingly low total due to these factors, so maybe it's a swerve, but F it.

I THINK Zeballos today at -125 is solid. Chela was playing an obviously still not 100% Hewitt in his last match and still had some issues in the 2nd set. Zeballos has been rock solid in Houston and was very impressive in beating Gonzalez 6-4, 6-4 last night.

I THINK I like the idea of taking a clay court specialist over someone in bad form who doesn't generally play all that well on clay. Plug in the names and it's Dolgopolov over Benneteau. The Ukranian has had success on dirt at the Challenger level and won a couple qualis here, so he's more acclimated. I think the fact that bookies set Dolgopolov at just +130 shows that they may be thinking along these same lines. I THINK it's worth a shot.

I THINK I'd pair Ferrero & Monaco today in a parlay. JCF should be able to get past Granollers who looked out of sorts last week in Morocco in getting rolled by Garcia-Lopez. Monaco may find it tough against Nieminen for awhile as the Fin has been playing on clay since March, but Monaco is the better talent on this surface and Nieminen generally loses to the classier players on dirt.
