DY vs. Kendrick. That is like a Challenger heavyweight match. DY is -145, Kendrick +105. Cannot pay that much for DY. Gonna see if that line moves any. Kendrick is in pretty decent form, but DY has beaten him twice this year. Interesting match.

Now that i think about it, this shabaz kid has to have some talent to beat Harrison on hard and beat lapentti who isnt good on hard but still as a qualie you have to give him credit...Local UVA Kid who is hot..talk about home court..

Wonder if shabazz has played on these courts before since the boars head inn is only like 3 miles from campus?...have to think hes going to have some major support tommorrow. its parents weekend at UVA and i talked to someone at the Inn yesterday and they said its been crazy attendance so far with overflow parking..

Gasquet is hands down a better player than Triocki. I did not watch the Kamke match all i know is Kamke has been on FIRE for 2 straight weeks easily beating Berdych and other top players during the span.

Triocki's consistancy form teh baseline could give gasquet problems

Interesting here with Kendrick against Donald Young. They are playing doubles together which could complicate this match. So do we have an agreed upon finish or are we competing to compete? Money says perhaps Kendrick has been given the nod by his doubles partner and who could blame him. Kendrick is 30. DY is 21. Respect your elders and do what they tell you. The indoor surface should favor Kendrick's serve, but he has to bring it still or DY will have all the chances in the world. I'll be a cynic here and go with the player who has swung from +105 to -125 in Kendrick. Could just mean some dolt laid a grand on him for no reason, but let's say it's a Bob Villa special.

I felt real iffy on that one all-around which is why I am skipping it. Monfils is the "form" but I think all things being equal, Soderling should win on this surface. Still tough to fade form. Money has gone on Soderling. He was -130ish I think to open or so and went out to -160, now around -150.

Yeah I had Roddick as one I was going to take at plus money, but told myself just make the morning plays and that's it .... I had been killing myself with the afternoon plays this week and of course today, I could have done well, but thems the breaks. I had something interesting today at bodog... Roddick to win was -115, but Roddick to win 2-0 was +220 and to win 2-1 was +300 so I took both to win the same amount. Are the lines usually this screwy, or did I catch some lucky break?

That is normal when picking exact results. I like to call those mad math plays because books seem to think we're too stupid to do the math on something like that. I've done what you did before on plays that I thought were solid. You pick up more than you would obviously betting just the straight -115. Of course the minus is if it misses, you lose twice as much.

you could also adjust your stakes, no need to double up your stakes on your play by betting exact scores

I dusted my stakes so that I bet less total than I would have on the regular -115 and ended up winning more than I would have under those circumstances. My logic was that if Roddick lost, I'd have lost anyway and it made too much sense.

If you absolutely thought Roddick would win and did not get him at plus money, what he did was a good investment IMO. Instead of going 1.15 units to win 1, the example would be that he invested two units and would win +1.20 if the +220 won or +2.00 if the +300 won - subtracting the unit for the wager that loses in either situation. So he made an extra +0.20 over the unit he would win on the straight -115 bet, but could have made +1.00 if the +300 won. That is my logic at least and I like it on occassion.

Still cannot confirm a score for Kendrick-Young, but checked DY's Twitter and he tweeted about an hour ago and mentioned that he's getting caught up on music ... no mention of the match, so I am hopeful that means he lost to Kendrick because most of his recent tweets included results when he won matches and doesn't seem to include updates when he loses.

I would almost always play against Guccione when he is a favorite, but as a slight dog ... I don't know. That dude is a stiff though. He's like the John Isner of the Challenger Circuit. Tall dude with a bigger serve who doesn't move very well and relies on his serve to do just about all his damage. I think an important thing here is tie breaks as Guccione has played I think four already in two matches ... Devvarman doesn't have a great record in tie breaks.

goalzz.com .. it does not have in-progress scores though. I don't think there is anywhere with live scores for this tournament. Try livescorehunter.com - they give you links to Bet365 and unibet, but none of the matches today have been up there.
