Just glad to get a damn winner this week. Mathieu has a shot right now against Mayer, but I think if he fails to seal it here in the 2nd ... he'll find a way to lose in the 3rd.

[MEDELLIN CHALLENGER] SOUZA -160 Chalk isn't everyone's favorite flavor, but it's mine in this situation against Capdeville. I'm still going to fade him as I do not believe his form is all that great outside of his run in his home tournament that he does well at each year. His first round match was a rollercoaster three setter and his serve was average. Souza's was stout in his opener and has been a more consistent player. He made the final of this tournament last year as well.

Tough call for Isner-Haase. If Haase serves well, I think he can stick around. Isner SHOULD win, but he's not been very impressive lately.

[VALENCIA] VERDASCO -116 Knew Simon would be a huge public play here and sway this price. Time now for me to get in on Verdasco. Yes, Simon has been in better form on this surface. But I like what I hear from 'Nando.
"I have been training in Madrid the past 2-1/2 weeks trying to recharge the batteries in every sense and I know I have to perform well these next two weeks to make it to London."
If he can avoid the serve yips, I think he's here in his home country to do work this week to try and keep his spot in the Top 8.

I've got a couple hundred on Verdasco so I'm crossing my fingers he'll perform like he needs to - I don't need him to pull an Andy Murray.
Well murray lost one round too late..the bum...So much for defending points..

Thanks beef. Having trouble finding any Charlotte plays I've liked enough to go in on this week. Thought about D-Young but couldn't pull the trigger at -135. Souza cratered after choking away a shot to serve out the 1st set in Colombia.

I don't think this qualifies as tanking. I think he just sucks. Oh well, so much for trying to outsmart the public eh?

I wish books had an UNDER 60 minutes money back guarantee. Seriously. If you are a Top 10 player and play so poor or cheat so hard as to not even get an hour of court time for two sets ... I need my money back.

[PARLAY] CUEVAS + NALBANDIAN [+102] Cuevas draws Starace and while neither is exactly at home on the indoor surface, Cuevas has been pretty solid in the last three tournaments. I think his serve holds up better and that should be the difference. Nalbandian is up against Cilic and while Cilic has all the talent in the world, we know his head is full of crap. He did actually catch a win in his opener, but Cilic is just 5-7 since his last good run in Washington DC in August. Nalbandian has been brilliant on this surface in his career with a 39-11 mark on the indoor surface over his last 50. Unless these two wake up tomorrow in the other's body, I think this is the Argentine's to lose.

[ECKENTAL CHALLENGER] BROWN +105 Ahh good old, one trick pony Dustin Brown. This match is on carpet between Brown and German, Bachinger. Both won in their opener with Brown working harder in three tight sets. He did his usual thing, 18 aces. The big thing as usual, can he get his 1st serve in? Only 51% in his 1st rounder. When he gets it in, it's almost untouchable as he won 94% of his 1st serve points, but just 48% on 2nd serve. Bachinger is of the same mold, but without as much power on-serve. He has some double fault issues that crop up, but he can hold serve easily if he gets his 1st serve in. Brown had some nice results on carpet late in 2009 during this swing with two finals appearances, losing in the final here last year. I think Brown is better suited to the indoor conditions, but we shall see.

[VALENCIA] ANDUJAR-GRANOLLERS OVER 21 [-130] Neither is a hard court type of guy, but they're in their home country and they'll put on a dazzling display of service breaks and errors to go to at least 21. This will be ugly and that is the way I feel like winning today, f-ugly to the nines.

Have a blast man. I mean I cannot even tell you how much I enjoyed the US Open, which was my first ever live tennis, I think Challengers would be f-ing awesome to be able to be a regular attendee. I would love to travel and heckle the F out of some of these scrubs and bet on 'em. DY-Nishi would be sweet man, hope you get that one.

Yeah imagine the crap you could say at these matches..half the time there is no one there, Last year a local production Company broadcast the matches on the 'net..If they do it again..maybe during the changeover Ill get near em and start talking smack if I get lit enough or maybe just be heard..I'll say there is a legendary Tennis capper named EP and if he is listening I give a SHOUT OUT!
Yeah if I ever win powerball that is one thing Id do for one year is follow the challenger stiffs like that guy who heckled Happy Gilmore...

[VALENCIA] DAVYDENKO +165 Say WHAT? Yes. It is time. This is the spot. The DONKEY has had an absolute whore's shit season coming back from that broken wrist. Simon is the form player here. He has been solid on the indoor circuit here late in the year. So why go DONKEY here? As much form as Simon has had, he has not made it past the QFs in a tournament in three tournaments since winning in Metz. Davydenko needs a push back into the top ten and perhaps the MOB is looking to make a score on Friday.
[BASEL] TROICKI -130 Troicki is a better player than Gasquet on this surface right now. Troicki got the walkover to rest up while Gasquet struggled a bit in beating Kamke. The Frenchman has not made it past the quarters in his last six tourneys on indoor hard courts, while Troicki won in Moscow and looked solid against Berrer. If Troicki gets his serve in consistently enough, I think he takes this.

Ep you want to talk about degenerate betting..i see that Bet 365 offers lines on ITF futures Matches...I hear thay use 1 ball a match in those tourneys with total purses of 10,000..some dude miss hits and it goes into the crowd they have to wait like 5 minutes for some jackass to go get it..
