The Sizzler aka Sijsling wins easy in straights. Maybe Challengers are my mode of operation this week.

#5501Hey EP, thinking of going with Ferrer and Berdych tonight. Any thoughts?
Was also wanting to play Fernando at those odds but I am told he is playing pretty rubbish and can't be trusted.Comment -

#5502[PARIS] DJOKOVIC-LLODRA OVER 21.5 [-130]
Getting this done is all about Llodra IMO. If Llodra can get his first serve in better than 60% of the time, he'll have a chance to hold his serve deep into these first two sets. He did a good job of that against Isner and whipped out 14 aces. He did not do a great job of it against Starace in his opener, but didn't pay for it. Djokovic won easily yesterday against Monaco, but wasn't overly dominant. He did offer up eight breakers, but saved seven. I would expect him to improve some with a match in-hand on this surface now. I think this one is going to be tight if for nothing else than the Llodra Syndicate will make some sort of move on an in-match play when Llodra looks like he might have a shot for a brief moment. Let's go over rover.Comment -

#5503Not touching Berdych-Davydenko by the by. I would love to jump on Berdych at +120 or so, but all the money has gone on the Donkey here and I just don't trust Berdych on this surface that much nor do I trust the Donkey.Comment -

#5504[ORSEI CHALLENGER] BECK +110
Beck has a good track record on the carpeted surface whereas Lacko is inexperienced. Lacko has made a nice run through qualis and the first two rounds here, beating more impressive foes. However, his inconsistency always steers me away from him as a favorite. Beck has been solid in his first two matches against lesser foes, he'll need to raise his game a level today, but I'll go with his solid record on carpet today.Comment -

#5507[PARIS] KUBOT-MARACH -120
This doubles duo draws Mertinak-Cermak in Paris. Kubot-Marach have made the semis of their last two indoor hard court tourneys. Mertinak-Cermak have been in poor form with a 1-2 mark prior to the beginning of this tournament. They outlasted Stakhovsky-Youzhny in the super breaker in their opener, while Kubot-Marach crushed Almagro-Marrero in straights. Mertinak-Cermak made the semis here last year, but were in much better form at the time. Taking form here and hoping they hold up today.Comment -

#5514Unbelievable the turd couldn't win three games in the damn set to get this to win. I would say he tanked to save up for next week, but he played way too many points and fought on his own crappy serve to say he tanked, I think. Djokovic just didn't have it in the 2nd set.Comment -

#5520Yeah didn't mention how he choked in that tie break either. Up 6-4 and serving for the set. Good point. Two matches I wanted no part of today were Monfils-Verdasco and Berdych-Davydenko.
Sorry Verdasco lost for your bet, but glad he lost and won't be in London. That guy has been betting poison in 2010 it appears to me after the first third to half of the season. I think he mismanages his schedule early and it costs him the rest of the year. He got on that roll on clay in the Spring and played way too many tournaments. He was smart I suppose to take off a month prior to Wimbledon because I don't think he had a choice as he had to be worn out. He's said many times here of late that he's taken time off to "recharge" his batteries. I think with a smarter schedule, Verdasco can be more of a threat through the whole year and not just the first portion. He did a lot better job of scheduling in 2009.Comment -

#5523[KNOXVILLE CHALLENGER] VAN DER MERWE -120
South African vs. South African as de Voest takes on Van Der Merwe. Going to fade de Voest after an almost three hour match yesterday that saw him barely beat the youngster from the University of Tennessee. Van Der Merwe has had a full day of rest and his serve was stellar in his opener against Luczak. If he serves that well again, I think he could beat a potentially fatigued de Voest.Comment -

#5524I think I'm gonna take my 0-10 record whatever it is this week and go F myself for the weekend instead of wasting more time this week. Go Cilic as I wasted some money on him at +310 ... so he'll probably break his ballsack in the 1st set.Comment -

#5527[PARIS] RODDICK -140
One play only for Friday. Certainly Roddick doesn't have any more work to do this week to get to London as his spot is wrapped up. Still, his serve has been excellent this week and should prove to be the deciding factor against Soderling. Soderling has moved through two rounds here with little trouble, but his second serve has been a little troublesome. Roddick meanwhile has been getting his 1st serve in consistently and winning points off both serves routinely. Soderling was in some trouble against Wawrinka in the 1st set and if he gets broken early again, I don't see Roddick letting him off the hook. Important for this stylistic clash to note that Roddick has won seven straight tie breaks and has won four of five tie breaks vs. Soderling.Comment -
