Thats not the case. If it was Monaco should not be the slight underdog against Cuevas as he has beaten Cuevas the last 5 times they've played each other.

Reason is as simple as Kei is superior to Ferrer on hard courts, and if you ask me he should be the fav on clay too.

I like Kei in this one..Ferrer on his 8th match in 9 days and not looking sharp at all in first sets in Acapulco. Kei does have a tendency to take foot off gas pedal. All depends on first set to me. GL

i think Ferrer wants it more considering he's getting near that age when he won't
be winning these anymore but he's won this, i think, 3 times in the past and
this would also be his 3rd tournament win of a very young 2015.
still, it would take his top level of play to beat Kei.. he can do it.
