I think I got everyone. Let me know if I screwed anything up or missed you - but I think I got it all. I will be doing scoring updates upon the completion of an entire round. So when all 1st round matches are done, scoring will be update.
I'll also have the tie break procedure up here later today. I was looking at a couple possibilities, so I am trying to see which one would work better hopefully.Comment -

Okay tie breakers were difficult due to the format, so what I will do is look at the standings before the two Finals and if a tie possibly can happen, I will have those involved make picks for the Finals to use as tie breakers.Comment -

as i understand it, it doesn't matter what version you've chosen...you're not competing with just the others on your side...cuz "points is points"...no matter what side of the contest you've chosen to earn them...for example you could be the top point getter on the WTA side...and still come in out of the money, say 11th overall, behind 10 of the guys playing ATP...cuz it's not two separate contests, but one big contest to get the most points...

Strategy for ATP was easy, with one big favorite (Djokovic), 4 clear non top-4 (Murray, Nishikori, Raonic, Berdych) and 2 clear unranked (Kyrgios, Tomic). Most of ATP entries were going to be that.
WTA was not as clear. There are:
1.- Two top picks (Serena, Sharapova)
2.- A few non top-4 with fair chances to reach semifinals (Brouchard and Wozniacki are good, but both were in the same quarter of top-2 seeds, Radwanska and Ivanovic were the other sensible choices)
3.- One very good unranked player (Azarenka) on though draw, and some other decent unrankeds (Keys, Garcia, Giorgi).
Looks like taking extra unranked players is not a good deal, as they get the points for one round more than made, but all are dogs to get past 3rd round, while any good non top-4 is favorite to go past 4th round. Anyway, I rolled the dice with 2 unrankeds. Going for high variance gives the best chance to get in top places.Last edited by Cookie Monster; 01-20-15, 06:43 PM.Comment -

i'm down to Kvitova. I'm the only person to take the southpaw female serving bot as my top-4 pick. But even if she were to win the tourney, almost no chance in hell to accumulate enough points to even finish in the top half.
