Don't think it's a good pick today. Marquee win for her last round, so she may be flat. Also, Civulkova was pretty poor. Diyas isn't a world beater, but could be tough for Bellis to replicate her play from the last match. Good luck though. No vested interest for me in this one.

Agree to disagree. Young players IMO especially in this sort of situation are much more likely to not be able to replicate their energy physically or emotionally from a huge win.

Bellis even said in an interview a couple hours ago that after the first round her nerves subside. Guess we'll see after the first couple of games if it's all business though

Diyas is nothing special, and certainly a worse player than even an unhealthy Cibulkova. She may have a lot more experience on this stage, but how can you pass up such amazing odds? The bottom line is Bellis certainly has the talent to win, and with the crowd behind her she has a much better chance at winning than the odds suggest. I believe one of these last two matches will produce an upset, and I'm more willing to wager it'll be Bellis pulling it off over Cirstea. Good luck whatever you play, I'm rolling with our American girl tonight.
