More of a fade Pospisil kinda bet, I just can't buy into this kids game right now. Got beat up by Sela in a 3rd set he shoulda won in Atlanta, and yesterday Ram gave him all he could take in the 2nd set. Berdych is another level up then both of those players and he looks motivated from what I saw last night.

He breaks all the big servers on any surface consistently and is part of the reason why he has been in the top 10 for a while now.

He still won 30% return points. How many games has Ivo won allowing 30% return? Not many.

Tiebreaks are always a bit of a toss up and thats why big servers tend to lose surprise matches as well as win surprise matches more often then others.

Wawrinka is possibly the only player I have seen that can play unreal above their usual level for an entire match, whereas everyone else can only do it for a set or so.

Will be interesting to see how Pospisil does here.

Lots of hate for Berdych but all tennis players lose from time to time. It's not like Pospisil is a terrible player or anything.

Right now Berdych is ranked 5 and this year has lost to Nadal, Federer, and Wawrinka all ranked above him and hasnt played Novak. Then the players ranked under him are Ferrer, Dimi, Nish, Isner, Gulbis, Tsonga, Agut, Dolg, and Cilic who he has beaten this year. All the other players in the top 20, he hasnt played this year (Del Potro, Raonic, Murray, Gasquet, Fog, Robredo).

So going of that, he deserves to be the 5th ranked player and the hate is not actually justified by his results as he has beaten everyone under him in the top 20.
