I am tired of the crap lines I get in 5dimes. If I am grinding out a nice existence now, I can only imagine how great it would be with smaller margins for the book.
What online book (safe ones anyway) offers the best lines for ATP?

#2Well, it is very hard to find a book better than 5dimes in means of margins. For reduced tennis markets, the juice is %1,80 which is one of the best in industry. Of course marathonbet, matchbook and pinnacle "may" offer margins around %1,5 but I guess you are from States and 5dimes is way to go if you want low margins. I am from europe and I use 5dimes as well. Also marathonbet for underdogs and tempobet and betcity for favourites but still 5dimes is very low on margins.Comment -

#3I know Betfair and Pinnacle are amongst the best-don't know the finer details though. I think you would be fine with either of those. Betfair live betting is sick!Comment -

#7I have an account on Pinny, but it is an account that I only bet an average of 3-4 matches per week on. No tennis, no special plays. I only bet my biggest games on it, sort of my 'top plays'.Originally posted by leetreaperD2D, you are from Canada right? Why don't you use Pinny?
This is is going to sound funny.....I was out with a buddy about a year ago and we were talking about sports wagering. I told him what I was doing and showed him my original thread at SBR. We decided that he would open an account at Pinnacle with $1000 from each of us. I would call him every time I had a play of the day that I loved and he would bet exactly 5% of the account balance (to risk) on that game.
The goal was that I would never know how much was in the account or how much we were risking. The only time I ever found out what we had was about 3 months ago, both out partying and he told me we had around $8500.
The goal was to play with exponential growth....to never be tempted to make a withdrawal. I had told him that eventually I wanted to be wagering $2000 per game ($40,000 roll) and that if I got there, with my win-rate, that I believe I could live off of what I made. One of the problems with this model is that I will never wager on one match per day or less. I am probably the highest volume capper that I have seen at this point, capping across MANY sports and capping anywhere from 5 matches to 25 matches in any one given day.
If Pinny has the best tennis lines then I will have to get myself a Pinny account of my own....can't be giving away money.
Last at year I average posting 12.5 wagers per day on SBR, all documented and tracked and won $16k in that 5 months across 7 sports and 1600 individual wagers. I have always been a mathematician first and I have always told people that volume is the best and quickest way to beat variance (actually the only way). If I see an edge I play it.....because of my volume it doesn't need to be a huge edge....it just needs to be there and then the law of averages works it out for me.
Now, to be sure, I will never leave my career behind. I make a pretty silly amount of money and I absolutely love what I do. It is nice to think about though.
I just started officially tracking all of my plays again 4 days ago on my thread. I don't know how long it will last....I may become bored with it again at some point, but for now they are all there.
Anyway, sorry to ramble on.Comment -
