Mahut is good on grass. If there were lots of grass court tourneys he'd probably be ranked in the top 30 to be honest.

Still, given Melzer/Verdasco has been playing away without a single complaint on an identical court tell you Mahut's a bit of a princess.

He might want to squat a little more and do some extra core work on the Bosu Ball to get those legs a stabilizing muscles a little strong.

Anyway I'm on Bautista-Agut outright. But given what I saw these first few games, if I were to bet I'd be taking Mahut for sure.

One guy's the defending champ and lives for grass.

The other looked like he didn't really give a fudge and was already playing some pretty stupid/loose shots.

unfortunately i need Mahut to walk off.... he would have probably played like shit if he was forced to stay..... there was a freakin soft mud like spot on the court, Mahut slipped hard.... you know his game forces him to do drop shots and move laterally all the time. Agut puts in in play and keeps those UFE's to a min usually. Mahut was looking better to start but knowing the french mentality, im sure he would of shit the bed if they made him play. Who knows the court conditions might have screwed Agut in a critical point as well....
